I started Ampersand Photography in 2022, but I’m not new to the scene. I’ve been in the wedding photography industry for 8 years as a second shooter and offering limited packages on my own. I have a passion for travel and I love meeting new people and hearing their crazy (or not so crazy) stories. I love trying new things and walking around a new city until my feet bleed (that's literally happened...still love you tho, NYC). I'm a major extrovert, but I have a great appreciation for the little things in life. You'll likely find me sipping some strong coffee at a local café or snuggled up on the couch with some wine, pizza, and my husband on a rainy day. With a camera in hand, I am probably the most annoying person to travel with, stopping every ten feet to take a picture. Sorry not sorry.

Jack Boatman is a Milwaukee native with an extensive background in music. He obtained a B.S. in Music Education from Case Western Reserve University in the spring of 2018. He prides himself on being an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, having played the violin for over 20 years and picked up several other instruments along the way, including guitar, drums, bass, and banjo. Jack has been DJing weddings and school dances since the spring of 2015. He is not only a skilled mixer and request manager, but an engaging MC who can lead any special dances or activities you have in mind.
