Ever since I was 7 years old, I told everyone that when I grew up I was going to be a chef. I grew up with that idea and never considered a back up plan. I pursued that dream and attended culinary school. Funnily enough, I never had much interest in baking. I wanted to be the chef and owner of a restaurant one day. After graduating and working in restaurants, I was crushed to see that a handful of places weren't sending out fresh, non frozen foods. So, I would go home and start baking, just for fun. It quickly turned into an obsession. Thanks to my family for the push, I am now here. I hope to work with you + create something special!

Babka Bailout began as a way to help a friend struggling to make rent and feed her family during the pandemic. When founder/owner Michal Prevor learned about a fellow mom’s desperation, she immediately opened her heart, rolled up her sleeves and began baking towards a brighter future. Michal’s “babka fundraiser” facebook post quickly covered her friend Carmen’s expenses and soon evolved into Babka Bailout - a booming babka business committed to changing the world one babka at a time.

We began as a concession company providing cotton candy at sporting events. In the fall of 2021, we extended our brand by starting our own manufacturing plant. Sweet Buckets was born as an option for customers and businesses to purchase Cotton Candy and Gourmet popcorns direct from our company.

My grandma was a custom cake artist in NY for many years before she passed in 2018 so I grew up watching her create works of art. I began this journey in 2015, my daughter who was 11 at the time thought it would be fascinating to have us start a bakery because it was something we could do together. Well, it has been quite a roller coaster and I have learned so much in such little time; every day a new lesson. I would not trade the hard lessons, difficult times, the tears, and the insane amount of dishes for anything in this world because I have done it with my daughter’s encouragement and camaraderie always alongside me.
