Built in 1892, The Octagon Barn is an extraordinary event venue located in the open countryside of Madison, Wisconsin. Our beautiful historical building is located in the Millwork Historical District in Dubuque, Ia. We are the oldest city in the State of Iowa. We offer two different ballrooms. Our smaller one, the Junior, holds up to 175 for a ceremony & 125 for a reception. Our Grand Ballroom holds up to 450 guests. We have shopping, bars, restaurants, an arcade, a courtyard with a megatron tv and a Comedy Bar. There are lots to do in and outside of our building in our district. Located just north of Manchester Iowa, Windmill Hill is a rustic wedding and event venue, featuring multiple ceremony & reception areas, modern amenities, bridal suite, groom's room, an outdoor patio, multiple outdoor decks, and more! There is also a home on the property available to rent featuring 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large living room, and a large kitchen and dining room. This allows you to relax and celebrate for the entire weekend all in one place. It is conveniently located about 3 miles north of Manchester, just off highway 13. There are several florists, caterers, DJs, party bus services, and more in the surrounding areas. It is also located approximately 50 miles each from Cedar Rapids, Waterloo, and Dubuque.
