When my friends started to get married, the requests to DJ their weddings began pouring in. It made sense, they wanted to party, and I had helped them do it weekend after weekend all over NYC. It only took one wedding for me to realize that they needed a lot more help than what I did in the clubs. At the time, the Arab community needed quality zaffa and dabke groups. However, it was very difficult to find other passionate dancers and performs. Still, Eyad continued to search for the right group to create Afrah Events. Slowly, but surely, he recruited an extremely talented team of dancers…

After years of recording albums, television appearances & touring throughout the classical world, Bruce & Saudhi Silver, graduates of The Julliard School of Music, combined their musical masteries & applied their talents to the world of popular music & entertainment at private events. Reminiscent of the 1970’s show “The Partridge Family,” at the early ages of 11 & 12, David & Addie Silver joined their parents & continued to perform as a family band entertaining throughout the tri-state area.
