Welcome to our page! I'm Maurice, and I'm the founder and lead DJ here at TCC Productions (formerly "Covenant Child Productions"). Since 2010, we've been rocking events across DC / Maryland / Virginia and beyond. We’ve been fortunate to DJ at company parties, live concerts, private house parties, and more. Bemcha is a Latin jazz ensemble that prides itself in both adding the feeling, rhythm and language of jazz to latin standards as well as in adding the latin and afro-cuban rhythms and feeling to jazz standards. Bemcha has performed at such venues as The Smithsonian, Brookland Festival, Adams Morgan Day Festival, Cherry Blossom Festival, Downtown holiday Market, Maggiano’s Little Italy, Tuscana West, fusion Lounge, Havanna Village, Tacoma Station, La Lomita Dos, Epicurean & Co and more. Latin styles performed by the band include but are not limited to: Jazz, Salsa, Cha Cha, Bossa, Samba, Mambo, Rumba, Tango, Boleros.

Ray handpicked the first 8 members, rebranded the band as Big Ray and the Kool Kats, had a rehearsal or 2, recorded a demo and almost immediately the band found itself with almost more work than it could handle. 8 guys traveling around, throwing the equipment into Ray’s conversion band and playing everything from outdoor concerts to nightclubs to fraternity parties, each all the while holding down full time day gigs.

SRO, the Scott Ragsdale Orchestra is a unique society dance orchestra based in Washington, DC, specializing in classic dance music from the 1920s-30s-40s to the new millennium. Extremely versatile, made up of current and former members of the premier US military bands of Washington, DC, SRO performs as a core 5-pc. to a small orchestra with fabulous vocals, horns and strings. All music is expertly arranged for each event by leader/trombonist, Scott Ragsdale, former Chief Arranger of the United States Navy Band.

Bud’s Collective is a powerful group of pickers from the hills of West Virginia. While their music reflects roots firmly planted in Bluegrass tradition, they do not hesitate to add to it in ways all their own. Playing a tasteful mix of front man Buddy Dunlap’s original material and popular hits ranging from Stevie Wonder to Alabama and all points in between, Bud’s Collective has been making waves in the music scene since the inception of the group in 2012.

When fate, family and music become one, you find the Low Low Chariot. Singer-songwriter JD Sutphin toured for years with his rock outfit, Madrone, gaining thousands of fans and even radio support. But even with their success, his maternal grandmother told him repeatedly “Country music is gonna find you.” And one fateful Christmas it did, in a decades old stack of songs unearthed by his family, written by his own grandfather who died on July 4th, 1974, before he could record them.JD’s grandfather, Jim Freeman, an incredibly accomplished musician in his own right, toured with bluegrass greats Ralph Stanley and Bill Monroe.

After studying music composition and performance at Salisbury University, David migrated from the small-town atmosphere of his youth on the Eastern Shore of Maryland to the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area, where he has since been playing music for a living. He now performs regularly along the mid-Atlantic region of the US, occasionally touring in other parts of the country as well. In the process, he has developed a strong fan base and attracted attention from many well-known names in the music industry and beyond, from Performing Songwriter magazine to Dean Dinning of Toad the Wet Sprocket to Ben Stein.

Pop Culture Strings is more than a group of uber-talented, young, and stylish string musicians — rather, it offers a new way to experience music as these instruments unite in unexpected combinations and other instruments such as piano, rhythm sections, and the like. Ranging from standards by Cole Porter and Frank Sinatra to classic rock hits by Journey and Bon Jovi, and extending to contemporary hits of today by Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and B.O.B.—these two violins, a viola, and a cello have never sounded so contemporary.

Tiffany Rose Shanta began playing violin and piano at a very young age. She comes from a musical family, having first been taught by her mother, an accomplished harpist, before being under the tutelage of world renowned violinist and conductor, Luis Haza. She toured in France and Germany, and performed at Carnegie Hall. For many years now, Tiffany has performed for weddings and special events in the Washington, DC and surrounding areas. Some of her past clients and venues include: The King of Saudi Arabia, the Library of Congress, The National Press Club, The Kennedy Center, The Smithsonian.

As a young child, Ricardo (Richard) was introduced to the guitar by his father, the eminent classical guitarist John E. Marlow. He went on to receive a degree from the James Madison School of Music (James Madison University) in 1997. Mr. Marlow subsequently took up the flamenco guitar and studied with master, Gerardo Núñez, in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Spain, and continues to do so yearly since 1999. In 1997 Mr. Marlow began playing professionally as a guitarist for the Arte Flamenco Dance Company and in venues such as The Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage and the Baltimore Museum of Art, among others.

Lucy Black Entertainment is a women and musician-owned, bespoke luxury events company based in the Washington, D.C. area, and available worldwide. Aaron is a high end DJ who has worked all over the DC and Northern Virginia area. He began to DJ in 1995, performing at countless clubs and bars in Atlanta to help support his music career as a bass player. Aaron’s love of music began in high school playing bass in jazz band.

A native to the Washington DC suburbs, his musical palate is as eclectic as the community that he proudly calls home. His sets range anything from Top 40 and House to Latin Dance & Hip-Hop. Michael is an active musician, composer and teacher who resides near Washington, D.C. He has performed as a soloist and with various musical ensembles throughout the United States, Europe, Japan, North Africa, South America, and the Middle East. He has also been featured on various radio and t.v. programs around the world. He has served as Vice President of the Dayton Classical Guitar Society as well as Vice President of the Washington Guitar Society.

I have been a singer/musician for more than 25 years playing Latin and International music in clubs, hotels, etc. I have theatre experience at the Kennedy Center, Shakespeare Theatre, Arena Stage and Gala Theatre.

Formed in the Washington area, Veronneau quickly gained widespread recognition for their live shows – the recognition became international with the release of their debut album Joie de Vivre – Joy of Living, released in 2011. The album went to #9 in the Jazzweek World Music chart and had extensive radio play throughout the US and Europe, leading to shows in the UK, where the band performed live on BBC Radio, and in Canada. La Mer,the 1930’s French song from the album, has become a major hit on internet radio and Youtube where it has garnered over 30,000 views.

Nfuzion plays a variety of Latin styles: Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Bachata, Rock, including Latin Jazz and some American hits that will certainly make your American guests feel at home, too. Starting at the age of 10, Jocelyn always had a passion for music and enjoyed watching her father DJ. As a quick learner, and now at the age of 24, Jocelyn has now become a well-seasoned and a highly sought after DJ in the DMV area. Her music portfolio consists of 30,000 plus songs stemming from Big Band, Rock, R&B, Jazz, Pop, to Hip Hop. She has performed in over 50+ venues, some included are Grand Ballrooms, Country Clubs, Smithsonian Castle, to local night clubs and backyard BBQ’s. Jocelyn’s professionalism is unparalleled; she always aims to please and strives to exceed her client’s expectations

Jill started DJing in 2003 for Associated Consultants, for schools, nightclubs, weddings & corporate events! She has been the DJ for Linedanceforyou, an organization that teaches line dances of all styles, since 2006, which serves the Northern Va. area on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. Because Jill is also a professional musician, she is made constantly aware of all genres of music, by engaging with the public 7 days a week. She can easily play a night of Latino, trap, country, oldies, and current dance tunes but also has a children’s library of songs for school events.

Nickoli Andrews is I&I Riddim’s dynamic lead vocalist. This spirited singer’s love for music is rooted in Kingston Jamaica where he was born, and in Westmoreland where he was raised. Nickoli is known for his passionate high energy performances. He is a true entertainer and composer who excites and electrifies his audiences with tunes from a variety of music genres, but his true love is rockin’ the reggae.

The Archives began when Thievery Corporation’s Eric Hilton began a quest to explore the roots of reggae music. Led by producer/ keyboard ace Darryl “D-Trane” Burke, all members have recorded and toured internationally with acts like Eek-A-Mouse, Black Uhuru, Culture, Don Carlos and more,” Burke explains. “We weave together the best of foundation reggae roots, rock steady, early dub and dancehall influences.

With a father who loves Miles Davis and a mother who adores Smokey Robinson, Cecily grew up surrounded by the music in her parents vast record collection, and was captivated by the works of Minnie Riperton, Gil Scott-Heron, Anita Baker, and Phyllis Hyman. After college, Cecily looked to these rich, soulful sounds from her childhood, and channeled them into her own music. Known for her sweet soprano, honest lyrics and pure vocals, Cecily brings her own vulnerability to each song, telling her story, and hopes that, at the end, the audience feels vulnerable enough to tell their own stories.

Kevin can be seen headlining a successful entertainment band that plays weddings and corporate events all over the DMV.

Now based in Washington DC, Eli has been traveling the globe for two decades and weaving his experiences into fresh folk anthems of personal empowerment, natural awareness, and finding one’s place in the world.Rooted in the Americana tradition, Eli’s influences range from the flamenco progressions of Andalusia, Spain, enchanting minor chords from Israel and the Middle East, and powerful melodies from the southwestern United States. His songwriting showcases authentic lyrics and an honest style that comes straight from the heart and welcomes the listener to participate in the music.

Shades of Gray is a popular 6-piece dance band from Richmond, VA. We play a huge variety of music guaranteed to get your guests — even the shy ones — up on the dance floor and having a great time! Our group consists of two dynamic female vocalists backed by seasoned pros on drums, keys, guitar, and bass. We can also add a great sax player to the mix, if desired. Bumper Jacksons perform the sounds of American Music from the streets of New Orleans to Appalachian hollers. Unafraid to scrap together new sounds from forgotten 78’s, the Bumper Jacksons elegantly balance paying homage to the traditions while fashioning their own unique, playful style. In five short years, Bumper Jacksons grew from a duo to a brassy seven-piece, with horns and pedal steel. They’ve been honored multiple times as the Mid-Atlantic’s “Artist of the Year” & “Best Traditional Band” at the Washington Area Music Awards. Bumper Jacksons bring you into the center of a party where everyone’s invited and the dance floor never sleeps.

As one of the best up and coming DJs in the DMV, NYC, NJ and CT, DJ King strives to be different in the game of DJing by giving people what they want, yet something new every time. As a result, his audience gains a new appreciation for all types of music.

Guitarist Tyler Fitzpatrick first fell in love with the guitar at age twelve. Though he spent time teaching himself, Tyler has been fortunate to study with many of the best teachers available. After developing a solid foundation with Roger, Tyler began studying with Damon Foreman in order to pursue Jazz. While studying Jazz, Tyler has also been able to work with Jeff Antoniak; Steve Rochinski, head of Berklee’s harmony department; Kenny Rittenhouse; Mike Pope, and many others.

Formed in 1996 by harmonica player & songwriter Scott Spearly, guitarist Tim Mitchell and claw-hammer banjo champion Paul Mackrell, the combo initially performed as a steadfast trio throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland and West Virginia for nearly ten years. As their name and reputation as a hard-driving old-time hillbilly-jazz band has grown, The Knuckledusters now perform mostly as a group of five, taking to the interstates and stretching performances from Washington D.C. to New York.

Sweet Yonder is a fired-up, all-women, bluegrass band — think Steel Drivers meets the Carter Family. They deliver a soulful punch in every performance with straight up instrumental attitude and truly inspiring vocal harmonies. The driving mix of banjo, mandolin, guitar and bass combined with powerful vocals makes this a show you don’t want to miss.

International veterans of stage, screen and television, Bob Perilla’s Big Hillbilly Bluegrass performance highlights include a screen appearance in Chris Rock’s “Head of State,” a live television gig with Earl Scruggs, multiple Kennedy Center concerts and a residence at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival. At the request of the U.S. Department of State, Big Hillbilly Bluegrass has toured Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and the Dominican Republic over the past several years, thus crowning Big Hillbilly Bluegrass as America’s defacto Bluegrass Ambassadors.

The Satin Doll Trio is an elegant ensemble that performs in the intimate "supper club" jazz style made popular by artists such as Julie London, Sarah Vaughan, and Peggy Lee during the early 1950's. They have appeared on the stages of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the Corcoran Gallery’s Armand Hammer Auditorium, and have made television appearances on the BET Jazz channel programs "Jazz Central" and "Impressions". The group makes regular appearances at prestigious venues throughout the Washington D.C. area and Eastern United States.

Élan Noelle is an exceptional singer with a crowd pleasing repertoire consisting of Jazz standards, RnB, Soul and Pop hits from today and yesteryear. Her vocals are accompanied by guitar or piano and together this acoustic duo presents an enticing musical performance. Élan has been performing in the DMV region and throughout the East Coast for over a decade with some of the most talented musicians renowned in the area.

Benjamin played at the Hampton University Graduation where President Obama was the guest speaker. He has played at several venues in the Hampton, Virginia area to include the Hampton Coliseum. Benjamin returned to the Washington, DC area to continue his musical career. Currently, Benjamin plays the cello at various venues around the Washington metropolitan area to include Chinatown, Georgetown, Eastern Market, and Dupont Circle. He is a cellist with the Sanctified Symphony Orchestra; and the Cellist in the musical, the Cortical Titanic.

Tiffany Rose is blessed to come from a gifted musical family. Her mother, Gail Shanta, is an accomplished harpist and has been playing in the DC area for over 30 years. Tiffany grew up playing for special occasions with Gail, and they add that special charm to an event, as a mother/daughter duo. In addition, Tiffany’s sister, Katie Shanta, is an accomplished violinist with a music degree from George Mason University. Tiffany and Katie have performed together for many weddings, as well as with their mother as a trio. The Shanta Family at its best!

Cristian began taking piano lessons at the age of 5, but did not find his true passion until he picked up the guitar in his mid-teens after being inspired by rock groups from Argentina. Self-taught on guitar, he gravitated towards classical guitar after moving to the U.S. in 2002. Encouraged to pursue music by his high school teacher Ken Hall, Cristian met Paraguayan guitarist extraordinaire Berta Rojas, under whom he studied privately for two years.

I’m a Washington, DC area based musician, DJ and instructor. I play local and regional shows all around the DC Metro area and beyond. My shows range from DJ, solo acoustic performances with loop pedals and multiple instruments, to my duo, the Two Man Trio with drummer Adam Stauffer, and various full bands.

Born in Washington, D.C. and raised by the world, Eli Lev is a traveler, self-proclaimed folk hero, and a passionate musician Eli performs as a solo artist and now with his new band, The Fortunes Found – featuring the powerful rhythms of DC all-star drummer Michael Miraglia; big bass tones of wunderkind bassist Bojan Novevski from Macedonia, and mandolin player Corey Thuro from Baltimore who maintains a folk grounding while exploring the brave tones afforded to him by his expansive pedalboard.

Founded in 2010 by bassist, Daniel Gallagher and Guitarist Josh Earls; Chasing Autumn started out under the name “Sullivan”. Sullivan played acoustic duet style songs and quickly moved on to more elaborate songs, adding vocals and more instruments. In 2013, preceding the release of their 3rd album “Northern Lights” the band saw the addition of singer, Logan Harpine. With this lineup, the band released two more albums, a Folk influenced EP titled “It’s Alright”, and an extensive 19 song full album titled “New Beginnings”.

Cristian has performed with many of the best musicians in the Washington DC area (i.e.: Victor Provost, Joe McCarthy, John Kocur, Emmanuel Trifilio, etc.) and played at some of the top venues in the Metropolitan area, such as Blues Alley, Kennedy Center Millennium Stage, Bohemian Caverns, Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club, and Twins Jazz. Cristian has performed in Canada and Dominican Republic, and in 2011, he performed as part of the GMU Jazz Ensemble in Shanghai and Beijing. Recently, Cristian has toured Bolivia and Korea.

Hi, my name is DJ Roscoe but I am also known as DJ Chop! I am from Southern Maryland and started DJ’ing about 5 years ago. Since I have begun, I have performed at all kinds of events all over the DC, MD, and VA area. I have done events such as weddings, birthday parties, graduations, holiday parties, bars, clubs, you name it and I have probably done it!

Grant Kuhnsman, who performs as DJ ARIA, is a critically acclaimed, award-winning DJ from Washington, DC. He began creating mixtapes and curating his music collection at a young age. By his teenage years, he was introduced to the turntable and learned how to beatmatch by ear with vinyl. Since then he has sharpened his skills and proven himself as a bona fide Open Format DJ that has performed at numerous venues across DC, Maryland, and Virginia (The DMV) logging over 500 wedding receptions, corporate events and private parties in his career.

Meredith Seidel has become one of the most sought-after performing artists in the greater Washington-Baltimore region. Following an early stint in Hollywood during which she was featured in a national commercial, and after a string of similar experiences-including being offered a spot at the prestigious American Academy of Arts in New York- she returned to Maryland to focus on her love of music and her musical career and to accept a position as lead singer in the popular band “High Society.”

SoHo Down is a Country/Rock band from the Mid-Atlantic area.Known for their powerful dual female and male lead vocals, sweet harmonies, scorching guitar and rock solid rhythm, with their own songs and your favorite Top 40 covers, this group keeps the crowds coming back for more. Soho Down was formed in Lorton, VA. by Jennifer Allen, Eric Shaw & Robert Bridgers. With the addition of Jessie Kohls, Mike Farris and later Gregg Park (Eric’s childhood friend)on guitar, the band started to really click! By the pen of Eric & Jennifer and a few visits to the recording studio, their Country/Rockin’ Blues sound is ready

Kristen is a graduate of the California Institute of the Arts with a BFA in Harp Performance with a Voice Minor. She has toured nationally with the New Christy Minstrels, and played with such names as Ray Charles, Tony Bennet, Victor Borge and Shirley Jones.

With years of experience performing for hundreds of weddings, parties and other special events, Melissa caters to your musical wishes to provide the lavish and elegant atmosphere you've been dreaming about for your special day. Melissa can perform in a variety of settings as a soloist or with duos, trios and other ensembles. She has performed for countless events in the Washington DC area.

Jeff Hayes has been playing the piano in the metropolitan Washington DC area since the 1980s. He has played solo piano at the area’s finest hotels and clubs. Jeff has played for conventions, fundraisers, and every type of celebration imaginable. Jeff’s repertoire runs the gamut from classical and movie themes to current popular hits. “From Fauré to Fallout Boy” as he likes to say. In addition to his solo work, Jeff is a fine accompanist and works with classical and pop singers and musical theatre groups. He currently accompanies the Sapphires, Bethesda Little Theatre, and Mini-Musicals on the Move.

Louis Jones is professional, experienced, and a versatile musician whose repertoire embraces different genres including jazz standards, pop ballads, funk/soul, latin, and modern tunes adapted to his unique style. He is available for corporate and private functions, birthday parties, weddings, special occasions, and receptions.

Monikais a professional harpist in Washington DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia where she is in demand as a performer and teacher. Current teaching appointments include the Levine School of Music, and the Concord Hill School. She maintains a private harp studio in her home and directs the Maryland Classic Youth Harp Ensemble at Strathmore Hall. Monika is a regular coach for the Maryland Classic Youth Orchestras and Young Artists of America, also at Strathmore. She serves on the board of directors at Young Artists of America.

THE HALL PROJECT has been years in the making. John Dixon Hall, Jr. has been playing in the Baltimore/DC music scene since he was 15 years old. His grandmother and his musical idol Stevie Wonder, were the catalyst for him to pick up the piano. His father, who was also an amazing drummer, exposed him to everything from Billy Joel to Ray Charles. Most recently, he has found a new love in New Orleans style piano. With the help of his good friends and GREAT musicians, Barry Sherard, Marcin “Samba” Otrebski and John Nichols, his vision has come to life in THE HALL PROJECT!

Quentin is an active composer, pianist, and music educator in the Washington DC area. He composes for piano and his jazz combo, blending memorable melodies and striking rhythms with adventurous improvisations. Quentin just released his new single, “Pipe Smoke”. Recorded with his trio, the song and improvisation captures Quentin’s dynamic writing and playing style. As music and jazz educator, Quentin spreads the joy of learning and playing music to individuals of all ages.

Chris Stiles is an international musician with over 20 years of experience performing in the US and Asia. Originally from Phoenix, AZ, he arrived on the Washington, DC music scene in early 2018 and has quickly become a valued member of the musical community. Through the years, he has had the privilege of performing with a number of renown artists, including the legendary r&b group The Temptations.

Performing in the entertainment industry is not only my profession, it is my joy. I have worked with top selling artists from the past, performed on cruise ships for a decade, and so much more. My wide range of experience allows me to be able to guide clients with full confidence. Currently hailing from our Nation’s Capital, Billy “T” Wilde is an American live performing, singer / songwriter. With just his guitar and thundering voice, Billy performs both a stripped down yet high energy one-man-band act, as well as a duo, Blues, Pop / Rock group along with his percussionist. He is part of a growing trend of looping artist’s that are able to use a looping pedal to layer musical harmonies to reproduce the sound, feel and energy of a full band

Russ is a violinist and guitarist who lives in Montgomery Village, Maryland. He’s been there for ten years, and enjoys the vibrant cultural scene that comes with living in the DC metropolitan area. A graduate of the Berklee College of Music, he performs a diverse of musical styles including classical, jazz, pop, folk , and bluegrass. He has performed as a freelance violinist with several different ensembles in the area including the Umoja Quartet and the Soulful Symphony which featured performances with Wynton Marsalis, Donnie Mcclurkin, Donald Lawrence, Ledisi, Ruben Studdard, and Vanessa Bell Armstrong among others.

From the elegant sounds of a classical quartet at a wedding ceremony, to a cocktail hour, enhanced by a percussionist, Potomac Pop Strings group makes it easy to entertain your guests with this classy vibe. Downtown Pop Quartet was founded with the goal of creating a professional group that performs in diverse venues with a broad repertoire spanning classical to pop and jazz. It includes professional musicians who play with leading orchestras and ensembles throughout the Washington DC area. Erik has been freelancing as a chamber musician in the MD/DC/VA area for the last 10 years, performing 90-100 events a year. Kat has performed with numerous ensembles as a freelance musician throughout the DC area, and has been a member of the Maryland Symphony Orchestra since 2003.

Electric Violinist Alina began her musical endeavor at the very young age of 5, taking up both the violin and piano. For the next two decades, she studied under the tutelage of several world renowned Violinists and Conductors. She graduated with a Masters Degree from the Academy of Music in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2015. Throughout her college studies and up to the present day, she has performed at over 250 wedding ceremonies as well as countless Corporate Events and Private Parties.

Fred is a fixture on the Washington music scene for 25 years, is an experienced, successful and diverse cellist, who is dependable and easy to work with. He has mastered classical, jazz, rock, blues, Celtic and pop styles, and has delighted audiences all over the country. Locally, he has played the Kennedy Center, Wolf Trap, Birchmere, Ram’s Head, Blues Alley, Twins Lounge, and The State Theater, just to mention a few. He is a true cross over artist as a cellist. He has played numerous wedding parties, recitals and other gigs, both as a soloist, and with every possible music combination, from string quartets to jazz combos to rock bands.
