My husband and I wanted to express our sincere gratitude for the overall beauty and charm of Grand Cascades Lodge, which made our wedding day truly memorable. The stunning views, exquisite grounds, and the spacious Emerald ballroom were perfect for our celebration. Working with Jean and Sara was generally a positive experience, and their welcoming attitude during our visits meant a lot to us. However, I wanted to share some constructive feedback regarding the planning process. While our customization requests were accommodated, there were communication challenges, especially on the day of the wedding, with multiple points of contact. The food tasting experience was delightful, and we appreciate the effort in accommodating our preferences. Although some dishes at the cocktail hour were well-received, the braised beef dish didn't meet the standard set during the tasting. Unfortunately, there were a few issues during the weekend that impacted our experience: - The memory table candles were not lit until late in the reception, despite prior requests. - Our sweetheart table had a wrinkled tablecloth, affecting the overall presentation. - The florist's flowers for the cake were left with the kitchen staff, and despite assurances, they were not added as planned. - The shuttle service delay inconvenienced elderly guests who had to wait longer than expected. Additionally shuttle service that was promised during the after party did not work as agreed upon. While these points highlight areas for improvement, we want to emphasize our appreciation for the positive aspects of our celebration. We understand that events may encounter unforeseen challenges, and we believe that sharing our experience can contribute to enhancing future events at GCL. Thank you for your attention to our feedback.

The venue itself was absolutely beautiful - with an outdoor, tented, beachfront space that was ideal for our summer celebration. The ceremony backdrop of the beach was breathtaking, and the hydrangeas were in full bloom around the property. We loved watching the boats out on the water as we danced the night away. The Point truly made our special day unforgettable!

The view was unreal, and upkeep was so great we didn't need to spend much on floral, since the Candlewood Inn has such beautiful scenery and foliage. Krista was my coordinator and she was extremely helpful during the entire I was engaged and planning up until the day of the wedding, she is the absolute sweetest. Delilah and Brooke were my wedding helpers, not sure of the right term, and they literally helped me with every single thing on my wedding day. They made sure i had a drink in hand, that I was ok, that I ate, that my dress was on right. I truly don't know what i would have done without them, they really showed they cared about me. I am so grateful I was able to get married in the most beautiful place close to home.

In addition to the barn, deck, and ceremony space, the onsite 4 bedroom (7 queen beds) restored farmhouse is included in the venue for the weekend. Our wedding was almost 2 months ago and I can’t explain how happy I am that I booked the crescent beach club. My guests still speak about how beautiful our venue was. The food, the drinks, the service and everything was incredible. I was blessed to have stacie as my coordinator. This woman is AMAZING. She put me in sooo much ease. I wasn't worried for a second on the weeks leading up to my wedding. The day of my wedding I was lucky with beautiful weather and all our guests went to enjoy the beautiful happy hour on the beach. I didn’t worry about a single thing on my wedding day. My matrie d’ was wonderful. She made sure to check up on us, she made sure we had food and water at all times and sent us home with A LOT of food. I ABSOLUTELY recommend this place, not just for the location but for the amazing people that work there. Don’t let silly reviews stop you from having the most perfect beach wedding 3 I can’t wait to come back to the restaurants on our wedding anniversary 3

From setting up decor, to the ceremony running exactly on time, to encouraging guests to play our games and sign our guest book…. he does it all. Let me tell you from someone who was constantly on the fence about getting a DOC - you won’t need one with Ian. At least from the second you arrive at Sea Cliff. He wants to work with you to be sure it is a special day for you!! Camille was fabulous, bustling me all night, keeping us fed, reminding us to “mangia” Every server and bartender we came across was super personable and friendly. It was truly the happiest day of our lives!! They are the whole package. Responsive, caring and the kindest most genuine people and is so refreshing after touring so many other LI Venues that do not show the same level of care. You will not regret booking with Sea Cliff!!

From the moment we saw the back rooms at Arte Cafe, we knew it would be the perfect venue for our wedding. The staff were incredibly open to our wishes and flexible in working with us to make our vision a reality. The skylight and garden rooms looked absolutely beautiful, with the natural light and greenery creating a magical, airy atmosphere, and hanging lights and chandeliers brought elegance once the sun set. The cocktails, passed appetizers, and dinner buffet were all delicious, and the staff - from the servers and bartenders to the manager - were extremely attentive and prompt. Alexis, the venue coordinator, was very helpful in managing communications with the restaurant and coordinating the kitchen. She could be a bit hard to get in touch with at times and was not at the venue the day-of the wedding, but the management staff took over and the event got set up the way we wanted (although this took some prompting / follow up from us) and flowed seamlessly. We ended up with exactly the wedding we had hoped for. We highly recommend Arte Cafe for any couple looking for a stunning, flexible venue that will truly make your special day feel like a dream come true. You might have to put a bit more of your own time into making sure you get what you asked for, but if you are willing to put in some of the extra effort it is well worth it.
