Reeds & Rushes is an amazing venue! When we first toured the place, it was still under construction, but we trusted Curtis and Maddy's vision. They truly impressed us with the final result. With the wood details and black and white accents, the venue provides the perfect backdrop for your special day. We were thrilled with the addition of the dock and the pergolas in the back patio. Our outdoor ceremony by the lake was beautiful. The Bridal & Groom suites were terrific, I loved that the Groom suite had a golf simulator – it kept the guys entertained while they waited! The Bridal suite was also gorgeous and spacious enough for 8 girls. Curtis and Maddy were excellent to work with, very responsive, and always helpful whenever we had any questions. I would definitely recommend them!

I cannot recommend enough! The entire Grands team was amazing to work with from start to finish! Joe (general manager) gave us an in-depth tour and made sure we knew all of our options. Mel (events director) made sure we stayed on track with timeline and choosing all the details. Larry (entertainment director) made sure our guests had the best time - I don't think the dance floor was ever empty! And we can't forget about Alyssa (day of coordinator) - she made sure the team had us covered in ways we would have never thought. She made the day stress-free, which was a dream! All of our guests had a great time and couldn't stop talking about how great the venue and team were. 100/10 recommend having your wedding at The Grands!

In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Mr. Healy was given a plumbing contractor for the train depot here in St. Paul, where he met Samuel Bartlett, the architect of many of the railroad depots and Glacier National Park Lodge. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.

On the day of, the staff was amazingly helpful and attentive - Eryka in particular was a true godsend, keeping us organized and responsive to our every need. The Bridal Bliss decor package they offer is a must, as the venue looked absolutely beautiful and pristine. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and feel the value we received was worth every penny. Plus a wedding night in a Tree House or Corn Crib Cottage? How can you beat that?! Words cannot describe what an amazing experience it was to get married at Mendakota Country Club! Adena and the entire Mendakota staff made everything run seamlessly, and I received so many compliments after our wedding about how kind and helpful all of the staff members were. Adena was amazing throughout the planning process. As a bride without a wedding planner and planning from out of state, I had endless questions that Adena answered quickly and graciously. The country club was absolutely gorgeous, and it was so nice to get ready, have the ceremony, and host the reception all in one place. Many venues require additional planning from outside catering, so hiring Mendakota for all food and alcohol made the process so much less stressful. Adena helped us set up sunset photos after dinner, and those are some of my favorite photos that we took out on the golf course. I am so grateful for Mendakota's hospitality to help make our wedding day so beautiful and memorable and would recommend the venue to anyone planning a wedding!

Goodtree Farmstead gave us the most beautiful wedding. The venue was wonderful and they were so responsive and accommodating in the planning process. It’s the perfect location for a ceremony and reception, with plenty of space for guests to play, eat, and roam around throughout the day. The farm at night, with all the lights, created a great atmosphere for drinks and dancing. The backdrop of the trees, and the barn, and water made beautiful wedding pictures. I cannot recommend this venue and team enough for your event!

We had our September wedding aboard the Magnolia Blossom. Captain Dan and his crew were absolutely amazing to work with and went above and beyond. Tamara even helped me bustle my dress when we couldn't figure out how to do it. There are lots of areas for photos, on the river, the dock, in the marina, and at the park, just a short walk from the Marina. We had a lot of compliments from our guests on how unique our wedding was, oh, and the food was amazing as well! I would 100% recommend Magnolia Blossom Cruises to any couple looking for a riverboat cruise wedding!

The North Garden Theater was such a great place to host our wedding reception and we were so happy to work with Ryan and Tina. During the planning process, all the information we needed was easy to find on the North Garden Theater website or Ryan was able to answer our questions. Leading up to our event Ryan and Tina were there to help in any way and were attentive to our needs. We felt like we were able to make the day our own without paying an arm and a leg. The day of our reception Ryan and Tina made the night smooth so easy. They were attentive to our needs and worked with us and our guests. All of our guests were so impressed by the space and by the North Garden Theater staff. NGT is the perfect space to use if you want to make the day your own and work with a great team. I am so happy we went with NGT.

A’bulae is wonderful! My husband and I do not live in town so we chose the Essentials Package with A’bulae so it would make the planning easier. It really did help everything go smoothly! First, the A’bulae venue is gorgeous and perfect for any weather condition (which helped me not to feel stressed!). The people working at A’bulae respond to emails promptly and professionally. They also help lay out a day-of schedule and handle a lot of the planning. They reach out and meet with the couple several times throughout the wedding planning process to put everyone at ease. Another plus is their in-house decorations, linens, chairs, and tables they set up for weddings. They have several options you can choose from. Further, while A’bulae does require you to use their in-house catering, the food is amazing. All the apps and entrees we chose were delicious. Above all, my favorite part about A’bulae is how they allow you to personalize your wedding as you see fit. My husband and I made our own monogram and cake topper, we made a slideshow to scroll during the social hour, my husband played piano, and we did an about-the-couple trivia game on the screens. It was really fun and made the event special and unique to us. A’bulae worked really hard to make this happen. Even when there was a slight technology issue, they called someone to figure out the solution remotely, and they had the problem solved very quickly. The team worked hard to make everything seamless. Overall, we had an amazing experience, and I’m really glad we chose A’bulae.

Victoria and 413 on Wacouta are absolutely AMAZING! My husband and I could not be more thrilled with choosing this venue for our special day. First of all, the ceremony and reception happened in the same place so we didn't have to worry about transferring anywhere - huge plus! Secondly, we are huge fans of St. Paul and being able to have roof access to take photos with the St. Paul skyline was so perfect. Everything went smoothly and Victoria was a huge help on our day making sure everyone was where they needed to be. She was a great go-to person. The venue is absolutely beautiful - very good St. Paul vibes! We will always recommend this venue and Victoria to anyone!

David is the finest in the industry. He takes great care and pays attention to every detail. The hosts and the guests alike are in the best of hands. He is perfectly courteous, professional, personable, and organized . His staff is friendly and thoughtful throughout the entire course of the event. The Commodore Bar & Restaurant was a mixed bag for our wedding day. While the space was beautiful and the food was amazing, their communication style was lacking and inconsistent throughout the planning process. Our coordinator changed after we signed the contract and no one communicated that with us. I was trying to plan the details and never had any luck with responses. We finally called around to other properties they managed to track down someone who could help. When we finally got introduced to our new contact we were able to finalize our logistics for the day. I would recommend anyone utilizing this venue to have a clear communication plan in place with the staff and confirm the next steps and process to make sure you don't run into any unnecessary stress like I had. The bartenders and day-of coordinator were great, and the venue itself was the star of the show, with lots of compliments from our guests on the beautiful flow and setup. Overall, the Commodore provided a memorable wedding experience, despite some frustrations with the communication throughout the planning process.

Forestville Winery and Event Center encompasses 17 acres of beauty and serenity. 2024 marks our sixth season hosting events and memories to guests from all over the world. Our Event building is currently undergoing major renovation and will be completed by April of 2024. The climate controlled space will feature spacious room for 150 guests in a “country elegant” décor. The building features a Bride’s suite with full bathroom and private patio. Also inside is a wine and beer service area, a catering kitchen, a food serving area, a stage for Musicians and spacious restrooms, Most Ceremonies are held outside near the Vineyard, weather permitting. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the Ceremonies can be held under our Event tent. The Forestville property is also home to a completely renovated one room School constructed in 1897 and used as a school until 1964. The School building houses our wine and beer tasting room and also the Groom’s Suite for weddings.

We absolutely enjoy working weddings and events at the Hyland Hills location! One of our favorite things is the kitchen space, which allows us to accommodate any dinner style. The layout facilitates the overall day of execution of every event. The ballroom is spacious and oversees a beautiful hill, this space does not need too many decorations! The large windows and natural view are wonderful! We love working at all Three River Park District locations and Suzanne at Hyland Hills is amazing, we love working with her and her team.

We enjoyed an amazing wedding experience using the dazzling Olympic Hills golf club venue for our 120 guest wedding in July. The venue itself is exceptionally well-maintained and provided a beautiful backdrop to our happy guests. We enjoyed our wedding service on their outside private deck with customized lighting and organized, comfortable seating. We enjoyed a sumptuous and flavorful Italian buffet, and the Olympic Hills team, including event planner Emily, gave us and our guests superior service. Emily is particularly thorough, extremely well organized, communicative and proactive. Their staff were able to handle specific dietary restrictions and allowed us to bring in commercially licensed appetizers and desserts, and wine of our choice (with acork fee), all providing money saving opportunities on our very small and stringent budget. Despite the fact that we had a very tight budget which they helped us accommodate, I cannot express how thankful I am for Emily, especially being able to coordinate with our vendors to ensure we had a memorable and fabulous celebration. To have access to this kind of glamorous venue without being a club member was invaluable, and we were treated with kindness and respect. I highly recommend for any event and especially a wedding, your guest will feel privileged and happy and as a bride or groom, you will be so relieved at the ease and beauty.

We were so pleased that we selected Campus Club for our October 2019 wedding. From the first email inquiry we sent to the Campus Club, we were impressed with the diligence, competence, and experience of the staff. The space worked well for us and our guests. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out - the terrace, the dining room, the lounge area, and the bar. We had a variety to guests from kids to my 90 year old grandparents and everyone was comfortable. The views are stunning from every single one of the spaces! We had hoped that our ceremony would be on the terrace but it was unseasonably cold (and snowing) on our wedding day so we ended up having it indoors. We were initially disappointed but it worked out great to have guests sit at the dining tables and was really pretty. The space is nicely finished and requires very little decor to look pretty for a wedding - we only did centerpieces and cafe lighting and it looked great! This saved us a bunch of money too. The food was excellent and all of our guests’ dietary limitations were accommodated. Leading up to our wedding, we worked mostly with Jenn who is very organized and responsive and takes care of all the details we hadn’t thought of. She responded to every one of our (million) questions right away. On the day of our wedding, the managers and staff made everything run absolutely perfectly. These people really know what they’re doing. We couldn’t be happier about our wedding day. Thanks Campus Club! Even 5 years later, I'd choose Campus Club again and again. 5/5!

Semple Mansion was an absolute dream venue. Our wedding was December 6, 2024. From the moment we first inquired, communication was fast and effective. We took swrveral tours and visits to nail down details - they were supportive and mostly transparent every step of the way. The staff went above and beyond to ensure it felt like our home for the day. The Machine Shop was the only venue my wife and I looked at for our wedding. We have performed as string quartet musicians at a plethora of venues in the Twin Cities and beyond, and this was the first and only venue where as a vendor I looked at it and thought: "I could get married here." The biggest draws were: amazing indoor location, unique space, easy to find parking, close to home, and option for both ceremony and reception to be in the same space. Communication with the venue staff was quick, fast, and easy to understand our options. The select caterers and onsite only liquor selections were excellent and had a wide variety of tastes and options. We went with Brasa and 2 hosted signature cocktails during cocktail hour - the food and drink were such a hit and people could not stop saying how great Brasa was and the cocktails! We had so much fun on our wedding night and everything came together so well. We worked with Lauren from Machine Shop and she was amazing, we got to meet with her for a wine tasting with our families and she answered all of our many questions as well as helped us figure out our drink preferences. So many of our friends and family commented on how this was one of the most fun wedding venues they had been to and we couldn't agree more!
