4.9

  • Starts at $250
  • Serves Valley, AL

Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

Something Borrowed Blooms was a wonderful florist to work with for our wedding day! Their communication was always quick, friendly, and helpful in responding to any questions we had leading up to the big day. The quality of their silk flowers was truly amazing - they created the most beautiful arrangements and bouquets that looked incredibly realistic. Our guests were shocked when we told them the flowers were silk! Despite the 90 degree outdoor heat, the flowers still looked freshly picked all night without any wilting. Something Borrowed Blooms helped make our wedding day truly special with their perfect flowers that captured the romantic elegance we envisioned. We'd highly recommend them to any engaged couple looking for beautiful, high quality silk florals at an affordable price!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

4.8

  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Valley, AL

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Because of all the florals already there due to the nature of the venue, and all the florals and plants they filled in, I didn’t feel the need to have a ton of florals, so I did them myself! I found Flower Moxie here on Zola and they were so great! If you are thinking about DIY’ing your florals, I would definitely recommend looking into Flower Moxie! They have some set packages you can chose from, but I upgraded to the highest personalized package and it was so worth it. I got to have a phone call with the florist and they put together a custom package, and they definitely killed it, the flowers were exactly what I had in mind. There were so many resources and they went through everything so well I felt so prepared and we had almost no issues putting all the florals together. All of our florals still looked fresh and beautiful on our wedding day, and some of the florals in our arch arrangements lasted WEEKS. A word of caution though: it is definitely a lot of work, so just ensure that you have enough time in town before your wedding (i.e. you can’t fly in the day before your ceremony, if you are traveling to that location) and enough people to help you (for putting together, transporting and anything day of). I actually really enjoyed getting to do my florals myself, and would highly recommend if you are creative and DIYing your wedding!

Pick A Bloom-Preserved & Dried Florist-Shipped Nationwide

5.0

  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Valley, AL

Pick a Bloom was founded on love and laughter in small-town Surry, Virginia by us, a mother daughter duo, who wanted to see our vision of fresh flower alternatives bloom to life. We work primarily with 100% REAL preserved and dried flowers and foliage.

I had a wonderful experience working with the team at Pick A Bloom-Preserved & Dried Florist. They were easy to communicate with and listened exceptionally well to my unique needs after my mom passed away. The quality of their work and attention to small details was lovely. They created a special memorial for my mom by turning her corsage into an ornament that we could display at the wedding. The team sent photos throughout the creation process and everything arrived early, which helped make our special day run smoothly. I'm so grateful for their thoughtful service and beautiful florals.

Katie was a breeze to work with! I am not big on real flowers and wanted something that would represent my husband and I. Her prices are comparable to real flowers and are even more lovely! I love that her flower designs mimic real flowers and that foliage was an option. She took the care to make sure I had what I wanted and sent me multiple pictures during the process and of the finished result before we picked them up for the wedding. She accepted my feedback and made changes to the bouquets to match my vision. I still have my bouquet and my husbands boutonniere as keepsakes that remind me of our special day. I would use her services again and again!

Named after my daughter, Zoë, I opened Fleur Zoë Florals after 15+ years in the wedding industry with the goal of bringing incredible weddings to life - and no wedding vision is complete without beautiful flowers! I live and breathe weddings and absolutely LOVE love. I am married to an incredible man and a Mom to awesome kids. I have a wide range of interests. I love sushi, Led Zeppelin, Forensic Files, folk art, traveling, and exploring creative outlets. I would LOVE to hear about your wedding plans. Let's meet for coffee or have a skype session. Let's be wedding BFF's!

I can’t say enough about how amazing Jillian was to work with. It didn’t take much and she already had completely capture my vision for the florals for my wedding. She was very kind to explain the color ranges of certain flowers that I was interested in and let me know if that range didn’t include a shade that fit in with my color scheme. She helped me find a way to stay in budget without sacrificing any of the arrangements I wanted. She brought the romance and the whimsy with her floral designs and I could not have had a better experience. I’m so very thankful to Jillian.
