Built in 1871, Cow Track Ranch sweeps from the floor of Nicasio Valley surrounded by rolling hills and trees. Located 1.25 miles down a gravel road, the ranch is a quiet location with an authentic rustic vibe. The reception barn, an original 1970's hay barn, displays a collection of antique gold mirrors, dimming chandeliers, bistro lighting and a built-in stage. The barn includes farm tables and décor. A large prep space with tables, refrigeration/freezer and wash area is available for catering use. Two oversized wood doors welcome guests into the tin barn which has one open side providing views of the rolling hills. Ceremonies take place atop the knoll behind the reception barn by a large rock or in front of the historic wood barn, built in 1871. Enjoy cocktail hour in the barnyard and the corral is a great space for guests to dance the night away under the stars. The Clubhouse is ideal for gatherings of up to 100 people. The building, designed by Charles E. Hodges was constructed in 1916. The Clubhouse is a lovely venue for private parties, weddings, recitals and off-site meetings. Guests enter through a charming portico on Homer Avenue into a spacious foyer. The main room is a simply designed space with grand proportions. On two sides, tall windows flood the room with light, which reflects off polished maple floors. Eight brass-and-glass fixtures are suspended from the high ceiling, and dark wood wainscoting and trim throughout add period character. This room includes a stage, framed by a red velvet curtain and illuminated by footlights. There is a grand piano available for musical accompaniment. Buffets are usually set up in the adjacent Fireside Room which is joined to the main room by folding French doors.
