Thousand Acre Farm is a unique, rustic waterfront venue. We host weddings, parties, corporate events and fundraisers. Our main barn has 3 levels: The first floor Lodge room, the main floor for dining and dancing and our loft which consists of fun sitting areas for your guests as well as a bridal suite and salon. We also have the smaller Cider Barn where the groom and groomsmen get ready as well as an upstairs luxurious suite for an overnight stay.

Originally a cow and poultry farm, the previous owners had run the property as a winery before Rick purchased it in May of 2017. After seeing the property, its luscious landscape, and the rustic charm of the original buildings, Rick had a vision. He saw the property transformed into a modern, chic space that maintained the history and character of the original farm. More importantly, he imagined bringing others’ visions to life with a beautiful and unique setting for weddings and private events.

Historic mansion, river vistas and forever fields, the world of Brittland personifies an old world luxury elegance in a rural setting. The hilltop setting commands magnificent views of the Chester River. Brittland Manor gives the discerning couple a series of settings and moods to create their distinctive celebration. This secluded mansion has a garden, pool, wildlife pond, 530 riverside acres, and woodside fields. A waterfront cottage perfectly compliments the 530 acre Brittland Manor estate. It offers a rustic riverside setting for ceremony and/or a rehearsal dinner.

Greenbank is a beautiful setting for your DIY event, with historic charm and a natural outdoor setting by the Red Clay Creek. You’ll want to plan hours before and after your event for setup/decorating and cleanup. You can choose to rent in smaller blocks of time using our Standard Package or take advantage of our Wedding Package: it provides access to the site across two days to allow for stress-free setup, deliveries, rehearsals, photographs, and event preparations, plus cleaning services and other special accommodations.

Brittland Estates embraces a collection of heritage properties located in the historic Chestertown area of Maryland's Eastern Shore. Its distinctive properties are rich with history, expansive settings from fields to rivers, and a rural sophistication. Each property is an ideal venue for weddings, small retreats and meetings, reunions, and get-a-ways. Stepne Manor is a marvelous property. Boasting a front porch that looks out onto the expansive lawns, there is a cultivated sophistication to the building’s exterior. After you have been joined in matrimony at your outdoor ceremony, make your way indoors to delight at the interiors. Here, there is a great deal to appreciate. Stepne Manor’s dining room provides space for you and your guests to sit and eat, while the kitchen affords any hired culinary staff with an ideal preparation base. The great room, den, and sun porch provide ample room for everyone to kick back, relax, and enjoy the festivities.

This historic estate sits on a secluded the 23 acre East Lake. The mansion can sleep up to 14 guests overnight. Minimum night stay is 2 nights unless the wedding guest list is under 35. We can accommodate up to 50 guests in the mansion for small indoor weddings. Tents and rentals and catering are by our selected vendors and we can assist with all of your wedding needs from music to flowers to makeup artists and hairstylists.

Bellevue State Park offers a variety of gorgeous venues for weddings, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners and more. The relaxed and flexible spaces provide a clear canvas on which to create your dream event. The unique hour glass shape of the Figure 8 Barn was designed by William duPont, Jr. as an indoor horse training facility. The estate was purchased by the State of Delaware in 1976. Enclosed on three sides, the Music Garden is a peaceful oasis while still maintaining access to all that the park has to offer. The timeless stone patio with scattered wrought iron tables and chairs is shaded by a large veranda supporting a trailing wisteria vine. Take a step back in time at the Mount Pleasant Meeting House. Our charming and picturesque venue is the perfect location to create unforgettable moments, be it a wedding, anniversary celebration, or any other special occasion. When the building was initially constructed over a century ago, it was designed as a Presbyterian chapel in a completely different location. Dismantled and purchased in 1907; the remaining materials were moved to its current home. Today, it has a capacity of 120 guests and can comfortably host both intimate and extravagant celebrations.

The Loft at Passyunk is a charming wedding venue located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This modern industrial-style loft will add an extra layer of urban chic to your celebrations. The Rosenbach is a warm and welcoming space to host any type of event, whether it be a company reception, an intimate dinner with friends, a daylong conference, or a lively cocktail party. Located at 2008-2010 Delancey Place in the heart of Philadelphia near Rittenhouse Square, our historic townhome boasts an exclusive address, and convenience from all of Center City.

The NSCDA/PA owns its Headquarters House located at 1630 Latimer Street in Philadelphia. Built by and for the Dames under the leadership of Mrs. James Starr, Jr., the house has served as the Dames home since its completion in 1923. The building was designed by the Philadelphia Architectural firm Ritter and Shay. Marion Coffin, one of the first female landscape architects, was instrumental in desgining the garden which is a four seasons delight to all who use the house. Headquarters is the setting for Philadelphia Stated Meetings, the meetings of the Board of Managers and its Committees, and for the Society's Annual meeting. The archives of the Society, including lineage papers of our members, both living and deceased, are housed here as well. Headquarters is also available to the general public to rent for weddings and events.
