“We are so glad we found P.J. from Fits and Stops Photography. From the early planning stages, he was attuned to our needs and photographic wishes. Prior to booking him for the wedding, we did an engagement photo session with him. We were very happy with his professionalism, creativity, and fun personality. He had the photos to us quickly and we were so happy with his work that we booked him for our wedding. He created a custom wedding photo package tailored to our photography needs. We planned a relatively small wedding at a family’s vineyard, but then the global pandemic happened. In the months and weeks leading up to our wedding P.J. was incredibly flexible, understanding, and accommodating. As our plans continued to change weekly and then daily, P.J. remained positive and supportive. Because of the pandemic, we had so many stressors and challenges, but P.J. was never one of them. We knew no matter what we still wanted to be married on our original date and even if no one could attend, we wanted P.J. there to take photos. Literally days before our wedding, we finalized a plan to do an elopement ceremony deep in the forest. It required a long drive to the mountains, a bumpy ride on a dirt road, a hike into the woods, and a short climb to a rocky overlook. Not exactly what P.J. thought he was getting into when we booked him for a vineyard wedding months ago, but he was 100% on board with our new plan and so excited for us. It meant a lot to us to have all his positive energy and enthusiasm with us on our wedding day. Though our wedding did not go as we thought it would when we planned it many months ago, our wedding was beautiful and P.J. did a fantastic job capturing the elopement ceremony. The day after our wedding he sent us a few photos to share with our family and friends sheltering in place around the globe. His photos meant so much to those who were eagerly waiting to gather for our wedding, only to be devastated when we had to alter our plans. Many people commented they felt they were right there with us as they looked through P.J.’s photos. We couldn’t be happier with our photos and our experience working with P.J. They worked our wedding at Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills and did an absolutely incredible job (more details below). Sarah, our go-to contact person from day one, went way above and beyond in being accessible for questions, taking note of our vision and making great suggestions. In short, she was a total delight to work with, as was the case with Nathan. Prior to the wedding, Nathan took time out of his busy life to get on a video call with Corey and I to discuss our timeline, vision and final details. The questionnaire Sarah provided before that was also extremely helpful in conveying our vision, and it was evident Nathan had reviewed those responses in detail before our call. Nathan and The "I Do" Photography team listened attentively and noted all of our requests and gave great suggestions, but always made it clear it was up to us and they wanted to execute whatever was most important to us. We left our meeting with Nathan feeling so at ease about the people who would capture our day! “This post is delinquent by a couple months, but we wanted to share our memorable experience utilizing Lisa Richmond Photography. I saw Lisa Richmond's art for the first time in the fall of 2014. Lisa photographed our dear friend's wedding in Winters, CA. So, when Linda and I became engaged in 2015, we knew immediately who we wanted to record our engagement and wedding day on 9/23/16. Luckily, Lisa was available!Prior to meeting Lisa for our engagement photos, we had chatted on the phone a couple times so Lisa could get an idea about Linda and my love story. “I am truly thrilled to be sitting here writing this amazing review for Jodee. Where do I even begin? I met Jodee while working at a wedding and her personality just blew me away. On the day of the event we were working she was all smiles and nothing but her being the sweetest person ever! When it came time to make the big decision of who I wanted to be, my wedding photographer Jodee instantly came to mind. As my fiance and I are officially a year out from our wedding I wanted to take our engagement photos somewhere magical. I called Jodee and let her know that we were thinking of Yosemite National Park. Jodee was nothing but excited to shoot in this location and this is when all the fun began. Let me just tell you Jodee is great at reaching out and keeping in contact with you for all your needs. When it came time to booking our reservation at Yosemite Jodee handled everything from making the reservation to finding out all info regarding parking and food and locations. This task was not easy given the circumstances currently during COVID Yosemite has changed their rules currently and it was a much different process to go to the park unlike in the past. Jodee was quick to jump on the computer and read about everything we needed to make this trip successful. She had a whole schedule that made our time there truly memorable. I can truly say that when we arrived it felt like everything was normal again and we were amongst nature and we felt free. When the big day came Jodee showed up early and scouted the area before we got there to find the best possible areas for our shoot! We had planned for one whole day of shooting till sunset and a beautiful sunrise shoot too. Jodee was game for everything! We had four outfit changes and several different locations for our photoshoot from Taft Point, Glacier Point, and El Capitan Meadow just to name a few. Each location was more magical than the other. Did I mention how easy it was to feel comfortable around Jodee too? It felt so seamless and easy we never felt like we were posed or uncomfortable she also knows the tricks to make you laugh. During that time it was so great to get to know more about here and her career and how she got started in photography. I am so grateful that I found Jodee and after our engagement shoot I am only more excited to see what magical photos she captures on our wedding day. I cannot stress enough how amazing this woman is.
