My father handed me a camera when I was 7 years old and told me to shoot, everything, everywhere. I have had a camera in my hands ever since. After 8 years in Los Angeles I chose family over Hollywood. I wanted my kids to have the childhood experience I had – trees, dirt, animals and nature. Once back in Sonoma County, I had the great fortune of apprenticing with an award winning wedding photographer. After several years of the work, I was hooked! It’s an honor being with people on one of the most important days of their lives. To tell the story of it. To capture the beauty, the excitement, the drama of it all.

Weddings are a unique and expressive avenue in photography, and requires a few additional skills. You have to be quick to adjust, be good under stress and be able to work with all kinds of people and personalities in any situation or circumstance handed to you. I bring a no stress, creative spirit to any job I do. I am the mother of three children, they are the absolute love’s of my life. My daughter has been shooting weddings with me as an assistant for the last two seasons, and the oldest of my two sons packs my car and fills my water bottles. My youngest son is a toddler, so his job is to kiss me goodbye
