“We had our wedding reception at a brewery and wanted some easy to eat sweet and salty snacks. These popcorn flavors were delicious, they sent us flavors to try before we decided. We chose 4 flavors and they shipped them right to our house. The popcorn buckets had our cute custom labels which they designed for us and looked PERFECT! We had tons of compliments on the popcorn. “Nate proposed on December 1, 2018 and we already had a trip to Las Vegas planned that same month. We decided to tie the knot while on vacation and I planned our desert sunset wedding/elopement in 8 days. Jenna came as a recommendation from our officiant. (Also from Las Vegas-thank you Pinterest/Google!) we are a little out of the box and I was assured Jenna would match our vision. Her communication was top notch during the contract process and since my hubby and I wouldn’t be renting a car, she offered to drive us from our Downtown Las Vegas photo shoot with her (pre ceremony) to our ceremony destination, El Dorado Dry Lake Bed. She also then drove us back to the Flamingo where we were staying. It really was meant to be that we found Jenna! An old soul wrapped in a cute lighting bolt jumpsuit. (I love Elvis and that spoke right to me!) Jenna met us in downtown Las Vegas (Old Vegas) and walked us around to multiple historic buildings, hotels, motels, casinos, parking lots, parks and art districts. Her knowledge of the area was on point and her passion for the city was apparent. We honestly felt like we made a friend that day. We had a very quick turn around time with our photos and we were (and still are) absolutely blown away. Jenna captured our day, and more importantly US, perfectly. I get compliments almost daily on my social platforms and I still scroll through them on a regular basis! We can not say enough good things about Jenna! She’s the perfect photographer for the out of the box bride AND the most traditional bride. Her eye is magical and she sees beauty in everything. “I cannot recommend Amanda/Salt Ivy Photography enough. When choosing a photographer for our wedding and for our post-wedding mountaintop shoot (instead of an engagement photoshoot), we wanted a photographer who had a unique artistic vision who produced dynamic and emotional shots. We wanted photography that really stood out and was not the run of the mill wedding photography. “Setting up and planning everything with the person online was wondering and really gave me high hopes! Everything went super smoothly. They gave me a comprehensive shopping list and helped finesse all the recipes for our mocktail bar. Also checked in a few times prior to the wedding to make sure we were all on the same page. Now the bartender who came was a different story. She forget several of her tools needed including knives for all the garnishes. I had bought quite a bit of oranges, lemons, limes etc. She was also incredibly rude and several people remarked to me about that during the wedding day and after the wedding. She looked miserable and angry the whole time at the wedding. The only time I went to the bar, she wasn’t there and after about 10 minutes of waiting around, she came back and I asked to try all my mocktails and she gave me a judgy look and said that she was already made a drink for the bride earlier. I asked again and finally after my husband asked with me she made them but reluctantly. Mind you, this was a nonalcoholic bar. Overall liked Bucky’s, but the bartender was who worked with them was having an off day.”

“I'd first met Heather at a Rhode Island PrideFest, and instantly saw how much talent she had. Every piece she did looked amazing, her precision was immaculate. I went to her several times over the years, and when my now wife and I began planning our wedding, I brought up the idea of having wedding henna done. My wife agreed, and I knew immediately that I needed to contact Heather. We met up with her at a nearby farm where she was holding a henna event, and she sat with us discussing what we would like done for the wedding for probably a half-hour or so. “I want to set the tone. I’m a single mom who met the man of her dreams after moving to a rural city from Atlanta. He decides he wants to marry me very quickly and I have only a few months to plan a wedding. My budget is extremely small, but my family is very large. No matter what, there’s going to be at least 100 people there. It’s a month before the big day, and I’m frantically trying to find a photographer within my price range. My style is documentary/editorial. I love an image that looks like it was taken on a film camera, and I'm a huge fan of the modern-day blur. However, I know it's important to get the MUST grab traditional photos if the couple want's them! I'm a huge fan of flash photography as well as natural light.
