We were thrilled with Port 393 as the venue for our wedding reception. Throughout the planning process, the staff was extremely timely, polite, and attentive in their communication. On the big day itself, they helped ensure everything ran smoothly so my husband and I could relax and soak in every special moment with our guests. The venue space was clean, beautifully decorated, and very well organized. Port 393 handled the complete setup and teardown, allowing us to enjoy the entire event hassle-free. Their staff went above and beyond to be helpful and thoughtful in every interaction. We truly appreciated all of their hard work to make our wedding reception such a memorable night. This place was GORGEOUS! It has beautiful outdoor ceremony sites, an amazing indoor reception spot that could have easily doubled as a ceremony site in the event of bad weather, his and hers silos, bathrooms, AND you can choose your own caterer (or do it yourself). They were so wonderfully accommodating and helpful…to the point where they were weed whacking the night of the rehearsal dinner to help us prepare the photo spots we needed. It was such a joy to have our wedding here!

The perfect venue. Ceremony and reception space all in one. Along with the patio space which was a huge hit for all the kids at our wedding. They offer open houses which was nice for planning. There is so much space to work with. They have rules, but still allow you to use the creative side.

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! From start to finish, Oakwood made our wedding dreams come true. The event coordinators are amazing at what they do. They are prompt, knowledgeable and beyond helpful. We got married on the lakeside & had our reception by the Gazebo. The venue is breathtaking. The service is spectacular. My guests said it was the best wedding food they have every had. The bartenders made amazing drinks and people rarely had to wait. The night started and ended perfectly, I am beyond happy with my experience. If you are looking for a wedding venue in the IN area, this is it. No need to look further. You won’t regret it!!!!

This venue was the best place ever. Malissia helped run everything smoothly and we got to choose from her decor for free. They had table linens and china included and the venue was so beautiful and perfect for our day. The pictures are magical. We got married in a blizzard but they helped everything happen as much as they could

We had our wedding and reception at Black Creek Ridge Flower Farm. Everything turned out great. The owners are very personable and easy to work with. They went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. They have connections with the local vendors. That put our mind at ease knowing that they’ve worked together before and everything would run smoothly. The carriage house, on site, made it convenient and easy for me and my girls to get ready in before the ceremony. The property is beautiful. I had about 80 guests and it felt like any more than that would have been too crowded. We so are glad we chose the flower farm!!

Everyone says “Something will go wrong on your wedding day.” They don’t know the magic of the Morris Estate. It’s impossible to describe how perfect our wedding day was, not only for me and my husband, but also our wedding party and our families. Everyone involved got to spend the long weekend relaxing, having fun, and celebrating at this beautiful property without any worry of getting assigned random tasks or cleanup duties— the Morris Estate staff was ON IT every step of the way. At the helm was Ryan Bergstrom, our coordinator, who made the incredibly complicated task of planning a wedding feel easy. As an artist, I wanted every element to be unique and intentional, and was quite frankly worried that the Estate wouldn’t be amenable to a more avant-garde event. I approached them with the idea of hanging a large tapestry painting in the chapel and they got right to work with how they could make that happen. There were no requests that went unheard, and it was clear Ryan was a fantastic collaborator and coordinator in all aspects of planning. Plus, anything or anyone that you need, they have a great recommendation on deck— we found this to be true when seeking an officiant for our ceremony as well as a florist. Trudi and Cherry Road Homestead knocked the florals out of the park. The actual wedding ceremony couldn’t have gone more smoothly, with a comprehensive rehearsal in the chapel and the changing rooms in the basement, everyone was able to get ready on time and relax leading up to the ceremony. With about 100 people in it, the chapel felt intimate but gave guests plenty of room to breathe. It was a short, beautiful ceremony that was tailored exactly to our needs as a couple. Yet another fabulous aspect of working with the Morris Estate was the ease of transition throughout events. Cocktails were in guests’ hands before I could even finish bustling my dress. We never felt rushed, yet everything managed to happen on time. Ryan did a great job taking the time beforehand to meet any vendors not directly from the Estate, so everyone knew exactly what they needed to do their part. The reception was unbelievable. I’ve planned other events, designed movie sets and installation art, and was truly blown away by what they accomplished. It was so exciting to see all of the love and hard work that went into making our vision come to life and see the excitement on guests’ faces when they walked into the tent. It was colorful, magical and totally surreal. Now, to talk about the food. With the estate catering both the rehearsal dinner and reception we got to try just about everything on the menu. We were very pleasantly surprised at our tasting before the wedding. The Estate Manager Nate, Chef Tom and their team had tons of options for us that were as beautiful as they were delicious. Arguably, the most difficult part of working with the Morris Estate was having to pick just a few of the options for our customized menu because they were all. so. good. Our guests had so many kind words about how fun and joyous the entire evening was, and instead of worrying who was going to help clean up at the end of the night, the Morris Estate had it fully covered. Everything was organized back into boxes for us to take home the next morning. I’m sure I’m forgetting so many other wonderful things that the staff did for us, but we will forever be grateful for such an incredible long weekend full of love and celebration. TLDR: Everything was perfect.

First a huge rope swing, (that we have since taken down). It was fun watching the kids fly into the water. Then the 110’ water slide kept all the kids smiling as they splashed into the lake. Then in 2020 our daughter was engaged to a great guy. As she began looking for that special place to host her wedding we came to realize that it was right here. We wanted it to be a very special place and we went to work.

It was perfect and Nicole was great to work with. Everything went super smoothly. Also my wife’s family stayed in one of the cottages nearby, which was great. We had our rehearsal dinner outside the house and had our pictures taken on the grounds. Oh and we got picked up by boat after the ceremony, which we couldn’t have done anywhere else.

The Armory was absolutely the perfect venue for our August wedding. We got so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the venue was! Megan served as our coordinator and she was amazingly organized, detail-oriented, and quick to respond to any questions we had throughout the process. She was also very flexible, willing to accommodate to our preferences, and work within our budget. Table decor, food, drink packages are all included which made coordinating the reception very easy. The food is through Navarre Catering is delicious - lots of great options to choose from!

It was very easy to coordinate a visit with the venue coordinator, DeAsarae, who streamlined the process and it made it very easy upon booking. She connected me to the catering company which was also very professional and worked to ensure my vendors had access to the venue space on the day of the event to pull off a great celebration of my husband's milestone birthday! I highly recommend The Brick to anyone interested in a quality event in a beautiful space!

Northlake is one of the most beautiful venues in Southwest Michigan in Berrien Springs. Regardless of the time of year, you can have the ceremony inside or outside and it is very spacious if you are wanting to have a larger wedding. This is a venue that does not require massive amounts of decor, because of how beautiful it is on its own. The bridal suites are spacious, and comfortable. There are also many photo opts on the property, including by the lake and around the venue, to take photos with your significant other and bridal party. The scenic view out back is beautiful for all times of the year depending on when you have your wedding. My husband and I are extremely thankful to have gotten to work with Danelle throughout planning our wedding! She was amazing and helpful with questions we had, and we couldn’t have done a lot of it without her! She was also very flexible and willing to work with us to make our day exactly what we wanted and special.
