A year later Suerence expanded from treats to making pastries and designing wedding cakes. Seeing how people reacted to her flavors and work of art she knew she took the right step in her business. Karyn and Jeff Schwerzler are the culinary artists behind Frosted Pumpkin Gourmet. They found the path to live and to their professional passion when they met in culinary school many moons ago. Jeff recalls that from the moment he met Karyn, who was studying pastry arts, she knew she wanted to create beautiful wedding cakes. Twenty-one years ago Karyn and Jeff uprooted their successful specialty cake company in New York to slow down life's hectic pace and start a family in the South!
