Located in the heart of Hillsboro’s historic downtown, this former church is a bustling nexus of cultural activity. Our facility is open Monday through Friday, with private rentals available on Saturday & Sunday.

With a regal red brick façade, the Chehalem Cultural Center is a fantastic choice for your dream wedding. Conveniently located in the heart of Newberg, the Center is steps away from fine restaurants, wineries, lodging and the historical downtown area. Housed in a newly renovated 1930's brick schoolhouse, the Chehalem Cultural Center offers an historic authenticity that is rare among today’s modern venues. Fully equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment and Wi-Fi, this flexible venue can accommodate up to 300 guests for a comfortable dining experience.

Guests at Ironlight transition between indoor and outdoor spaces through sliding glass doors opening onto two separate rooftop terraces. An enclosed glass lobby welcomes guests into the building. Ironlight accommodates guests indoors with the ability to create custom intimate gathering areas within the space. Parking is conveniently located onsite under the building in addition to an area for ridesharing drop-off/pick-up or valet.

From intimate to elaborate our venue has you covered! Our two world renowned restaurants, Departure and Urban Farmer can host small gatherings of up to 30 attendees, while our larger Ballroom and Cityview Living Room can host up to 500 attendees. Have your wedding ceremony on our rooftop or in our ballroom with a reception following in one of our more casual spaces like the Barrel Room or elegant Nines Ballroom. Our hotel is housed in the Meier & Frank Building, built in 1909 and is rich in Portland history yet has a modern, artistic feel being home to over 2 million dollars worth of art by Pacific Northwest artists. We have 331 guestrooms onsite and offer courtesy room blocks, bridal getting ready rooms and suites. Our hotel is silver LEED certified, has its own herb garden and bee hive on our rooftop contributing to our multiple sustainable practices. The magnificent Elsinore Theatre first opened its doors in 1926 and now you can host your special day in this amazing piece of Americana! With its castle-like architecture, exquisite artwork and stained glassed windows along with unparalleled acoustics, the Elsinore Theatre is the perfect spot for both a ceremony and reception. Your guests will be blown away as you say your vows on the regal stage of the Elsinore theatre while they watch from classic red velvet theatre seats. While guests mingle during cocktail hour the happy couple will take stunning wedding portraits, a particular favorite is to take whimsical photos in front of the theatre’s marquee. Make your grand entrance to the reception in Harcourt Hall when you walk down the dramatic double staircases.

Built in 1852, the house sits on just under three acres and is surrounded by gardens and farm lands. Our gardens consist of heritage roses, perennial beds, and a large lawn with mature trees. Also included in the village is the Pioneer Mothers Memorial Cabin, an 1850’s one room schoolhouse and the historic Butteville Jail. The grounds of the complex make a charming backdrop for weddings providing a wonderful step back in time.

Located in the heart of Portland’s cultural district, the Portland Art Museum is the preferred venue for many of Portland’s most prestigious social gatherings. Its spacious ballrooms and sculpture mall, professional event production team, and list of preferred caterers stand ready to host your event.

Holocene is a unique venue for weddings and receptions — a soaring, modern space with a clean, contemporary mood, endless flexibility, a full-range of amenities, and a dedicated staff. The lofty white spaces, big windows, warm wood, and cozy lighting provide a great backdrop — the space looks wonderful with just a few brought flowers, or can harmonize with a more elaborate scheme. The distinct areas of the space let Holocene work perfectly as a combination ceremony and reception venue, in any season. We have a stable of excellent caterers, floral designers, rental companies, DJs, and musicians to recommend, or, you’re very welcome to bring your own. We have a big stage (and amazing sound system), a DJ booth (and gear, and moving lights and video and haze), a photobooth, dressing rooms, a kitchen and gorgeous full bar (with slushies cocktails, great draft beers…) — all included in the rental.
