Coley Hall at The Liberty began as a run-down century old Tobacco Warehouse. After being purchased by Elkin native Cicely McCulloch, the space was transformed into a beautiful wedding venue. However, one cannot help but notice the space’s rich history. With an industrial feel, century-old exposed beams overhead, weathered wood, and distressed brick, it’s the definition of rustic elegance and can be tailor-made to fit any style. Keep things simple by utilizing the existing beauty of the space, or dress it up with elegant sheer fabrics draped overhead. Even if you are not DIY savvy, our staff is here to provide inspiration to ensure your vision comes to life!

Serre’s 70-acre grounds with breathtaking scenery, rustic meets modern barn that accommodates up to 200 guests, covered patio seating, custom-built farmhouse tables, luxurious décor, outdoor bar, fire pit, and wedding coordinator to help plan it all will make sure your loved ones are not only comfortable; they’ll feel like it’s their special day, too. Our wedding venue is unique because the ceremony, reception, and lodging overlook the beautiful Roaring River. You are just a few feet from the river at all times. The vineyard has an elegant old-world stone entrance, ponds on each side of the main entrance road, and a beautiful stone fountain. As you pass the door, the vineyards unfold before you – the view is reminiscent of a French hillside vineyard. We are a full-service resort with event venues, lodging, a hot tub building, Chez Josephine Restaurant, a beer/wine tasting room, RV Park, and Harvest Host. We have one of the most scenic sites for your event, with 1.5 miles of riverbanks along the Roaring River. Few sites have an actual river, perhaps a creek, but this is the east prong of the Roaring River that flows down from Stone Mountain.
