“We LOVED our wedding at IslandWood! I worked on the events team at IslandWood from 2019-2021, before shifting careers completely. I always loved to work the weddings, and imagined that my dream wedding would be there one day. I am so so happy that I was able to make that dream come true!! IslandWood goes above and beyond to make the guests' and bride & groom's experiences absolutely perfect! I personally already knew the food would taste amazing, as I used to always eat the leftovers when I worked there. But eating food from a menu that my husband and I got to custom design with Jim was truly an unforgettable experience. All of the guests loved the food, and Jim and his team tackle every request that you throw their way! My husband is Dominican, and Jim made sure that the Dominican food he made was authentic and delicious. At one point, my husband's aunts asked whether a Dominican was working in the kitchen! Moreover, Erica, our event planner, went above and beyond to ensure that we had a perfect weekend! IslandWood is a magical place, and your wedding will be magical if you choose to have it there. Yes, it is pricey, but the experiences that you, your family, and your friends will leave with are truly invaluable!”

We also have a 60’ x 40’ white tent to provide a large, covered space. Get ready comfortably in our bridal suite and groom’s rooms. Stilly Brook Farm was originally homesteaded by a pioneer family in 1889. It still retains its magnificent, original cedar beams and cathedral ceiling that once held up to 25 tons of hay. David & Terri Lundquist are the current owners, along with their 5 daughters, are now adding to what the Emery’s originally envisioned when they turned this sleepy farm into a place for others to enjoy. Once you step inside you will see that Stilly Brook Farm has attended to every detail in this beautifully renovated venue.

“We had our wedding here June 24, 2023 - and we could not have been happier with our choice. The venue itself is just beautiful already, but Dave and Terri are constantly doing work throughout the year to improve it in whatever way they can think of! We booked our venue 1 1/2 years in advance, so we took many trips to Stilly Brook during that time, and every single time we went to visit we noticed an additional change that had been made to keep the venue looking beautiful. Whether it was repainting to make something look more fresh/vibrant, planting new flowers, or adding a new structure to use as an additional option for ceremony location or photos - they are always working hard to keep this venue in tip top shape year round. Even the massive lawn stays mowed and in pristine condition! Additionally, a great feature here is while there are many outdoor options for where the ceremony is to be held, there is a beautiful indoor option as well! In the PNW, even for a summer wedding, it was great to know we had a great back up option in case the weather didn’t cooperate. Lastly, Terri is amazing to work with - she is so communicative, helpful, and knowledgeable. She lays things out thoroughly to help navigate all the ins and outs of wedding planning you may not even think of, and was always available for any questions or needs we had. Special mention to their preferred bartender, Leanne, who was just as communicative and helpful as Terri while planning for the bar! The great quality and kindness of the preferred vendors, and the beautiful condition of the property itself, are a reflection of all the care that is put into this venue by Dave and Terri - this is something that becomes even more clear with each interaction, as this care is poured into your day as well. We highly recommend Stilly Brook!!”
