DeeDee is an incredible owner - providing the best service and advice throughout not only your wedding day, but planning as well! We loved that Sadie Lake had such a large inventory of decor - we saved hundreds here! The bridal suite with beautiful natural light, large and accommodating groom’s suite, and the prep kitchen was a huge bonus. Now let’s talk about the grounds - DeeDee has created a beautiful venue. When we showed up for our tour, she was in gardening gloves and boots - we knew that she kept this place immaculate! Everything on the 18 acres is absolutely gorgeous, perfect for wedding photos! The barn is a beautiful backdrop, the lake is adorable, and the lush green grounds are to die for. The tent and barn provide great alternates for poor weather as well (we didn’t need it, but we were glad to have a backup, knowing Washington). Our guests absolutely loved partying it up at Sadie Lake! Deedee is the kindest vendor, and truly cares for you as a couple and the important part of your wedding day; that you love each other and are getting married!! We highly recommend Sadie Lake! • Flexible event spaces
  • Multiple event spaces
  • Space for a large guest list

Venue considerations

  • Does not have a dance floor
  • Best for events with big guest lists
  • No in-house lighting and sound packages available
The Lady Florence feels less like a traditional venue and more like the beloved home of a great aunt who’s thrilled to host your wedding. The house itself is stunning—filled with charming antiques, art, and delightful knickknacks that make it feel warm and personal. The outdoor spaces offer something special in every season. We got married in the fall, and were treated to blooming dahlias and grapevines bursting with rich, vibrant colors. Amy and Betsy are absolute gems. We were looking for a wedding that was both beautiful and low-key, and as soon as we met them, we knew we’d found our match. I don’t want to make any promises on their behalf, but let’s just say I floated the idea of a miniature donkey as a ring bearer, and they didn’t even blink. They matched our vibe immediately. I chose to have Amy do the day-of coordination—and as a project manager and full-blown type A person, I wanted to be completely hands-off on the big day. My wedding binder had instructions down to the napkin folds. Amy NAILED it. If anything went wrong, I never knew. Everything ran perfectly. We also loved how flexible the venue was in letting us create the wedding we envisioned. Through Florence, we found Carol at Island Girls Catering (incredible!) and she connected us to Sweet Buffet Lady for rentals. That trio made for an absolute dream team. We booked the whole house overnight and I highly recommend doing that. Honestly, our only regret was not booking the entire weekend. Having the space to linger, enjoy the night, and ease into cleanup the next morning was priceless.

The acoustics are great both in the loft and downstairs and has a few options for ceremony location. Look forward to working here again ANYTIME!
