  • Indoor & outdoor

In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Mr. Healy was given a plumbing contractor for the train depot here in St. Paul, where he met Samuel Bartlett, the architect of many of the railroad depots and Glacier National Park Lodge. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.

Hope Glen Farm was the perfect choice for our wedding venue. From the very first communication, the team was clear, detailed, and incredibly personable. On the day of, the staff was amazingly helpful and attentive - Eryka in particular was a true godsend, keeping us organized and responsive to our every need. We had our September wedding aboard the Magnolia Blossom. Captain Dan and his crew were absolutely amazing to work with and went above and beyond. Tamara even helped me bustle my dress when we couldn't figure out how to do it. There are lots of areas for photos, on the river, the dock, in the marina, and at the park, just a short walk from the Marina. We had a lot of compliments from our guests on how unique our wedding was, oh, and the food was amazing as well! I would 100% recommend Magnolia Blossom Cruises to any couple looking for a riverboat cruise wedding!
