The Magnolia Room is situated at the Oldest City's most historic property, the Fountain of Youth. The Park features 15 acres, making it a great space for weddings, rehearsal dinners, farewell brunches, & other special occasions. There is complimentary onsite parking. The property offers views of the Matanzas River. In addition to that ever-popular water view, there are exotic peacocks wandering the grounds. The Magnolia Room is a 2,500 square foot enclosed event space, with retractable bay doors opening to two open-air patios, adding an additional 2,800 square feet for additional guest seating or a dance floor. There is a private sitting room & a caterers' prep kitchen inside. The Celebration Cottage can accommodate wedding parties on their special day. The Junior League of Jacksonville purchased the building in 1979 and by 1980, we opened our facilities to the community and its many organizations.
