The day after I received my Bachelors in Science degree, I picked my childhood camera back up again and realized how effortlessly photography came to me. I was asked to do 2 weddings that year.. which turned into the 25 a year I do now... and I never looked back. Almost a decade later, I've worked in places like the tropical beaches of Puerto Vallarta to the serene rolling hills of Italy and everywhere in between, my one primary goal has remained to document love in the most authentic way.

Mariachi Hidalgo was founded in 2017 and is led by our Musical Director Hernan Hidalgo Treviño who is a first-generation musician within his family. At the age of 21, Hernan is New York City’s, as well as the East Coast’s, 1st ever “Youngest Musical Director of a Mariachi Band”. Hernan graduated from the CUNY of Hunter College as a Music and History major to better prepare himself for both the musical and culture of mariachi. Within the first 2 years, Mariachi Hidalgo has performed in some of New York's exclusive places. Hernan's main goal is to inspire and motivate other youths to continue this musical tradition of mariachi.
