“We hired Dane for our wedding looking for someone to DJ the ceremony and reception. Dane kept in touch with us through the entire process. He was very thorough in a list of moments that songs should be included or thought about and if we didn’t have one already he was helpful with suggestions. There’s so much to the wedding process we were unaware of but he helped us create a night we won’t forget. As for the day of Dane was there on time if not early preparing for our wedding. The whole night he was attentive and we didn’t have to say much for him to be on the same page when we were ready for the next moment, toast or dance. He was friendly and my guests enjoyed interacting with him saying it felt as if he was apart of the family and questioning if we had known him before now. He really kept the energy going for the crowd and had us dancing until the end. My guests even kept telling me I picked a great playlist for the wedding but it was all Dane’s suggestions and reading of the crowd. For the music alone I wish I had booked the venue for another hour! Dane was awesome and such a huge part of the team that made our wedding everything I could have dreamed of!”

Dan and his team were so easy to work with, and their 5-piece DJ band was the perfect, fun switch-up from a traditional band for our June wedding at Greenpoint Loft. We also had a ceremony guitarist and a saxophonist with tracks for the cocktail hour, which added great touches to the day. “We have used Craig w/Hi Fidelity for 2 weddings over the years - he is so much more than a typical DJ! He has a way of engaging with the audience that is amazing. He is able to get people involved and dancing that would typically just watch or leave at that point. I have been to many weddings over the years but have never been to any that are more FUN than the ones he’s DJ’d. He had the entirety of guests laughing and participating until the very end when the venue told us we had to wrap it up for the night. I had a guest write me a letter afterwards thanking me for having such a fun wedding reception; he is 70 yrs old and stated that this was the best wedding he’d ever been to in his entire life! Wow. That’s a huge statement. Craig deserves this praise! Craig also served as a master of ceremony for the entire day. He helped coordinate people and things so the entire wedding day was not only smooth and efficient but relatively stress free. That was a huge help/relief for this mother of the bride.
