The building dates back to 1837, a three-level structure which was built by William Nelson. Peekskill lawyer, Congressman, and friend to Abraham Lincoln. A small stage, built on the 3rd floor in 1870, was identified as the “Dramatic Hall.” This emblematic building had been abandoned for about 20 years and fallen into disrepair until 2012, a complete renovation took place restoring the 1870-era theater. Established in 1912 for the Lewis Lapham family. Waveny House, a historic Tudor style mansion sits majestically overlooking 300 hundred acres of countryside in picturesque New Canaan, Connecticut. Accommodating up to 160 guests Waveny House is a fairytale setting for weddings and receptions. Built By Dimmick Drake in 1906, Castle Inn was the last of the great hotels to be built in Delaware Water Gap, Pennsylvania. Tourists flocked to the Gap to escape the summer heat and enjoy the beauty of the Delaware River. Designed by German architect Robert Brueckner, Castle Inn was constructed of poured concrete and timber beams, a European construction technique unusual in the United States at the time.

The building is steeped in history and reflected in the original wood moldings, hand carved mahogany staircase, and mercer tiled fireplaces. Each of our 16 guest rooms was designed to have a look and feel that is entirely unique from the rest. The vibe is intimate, cozy, and warm. As you make your way west towards the Bank st. entrance there is a subtle transition with a bespoke feel that is modern and bright.
