New Park is located in Ithaca, just north of the city and just south of Taughannock Falls, in the stunning Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. The suites are absolutely stunning and I loved how I got to spend my wedding weekend with the people I love most in one place. The forest where the ceremony takes place is breathtaking, peaceful, and magical. Your ceremony photos will be beautiful! The owner of the venue, Sara is amazing! She was very accommodating all weekend! She was also very calm, cool, and collected which in turn helped me be cool, calm, and collected which as a bride is all you can ask for! “My husband and I got married at Inns of Aurora in August, and we can't express enough how wonderful our experience was from start to finish. The property is stunning— unique and charming, with impeccable attention to detail. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the maintenance staff is a well-oiled machine. But most importantly, the staff at this property are incredible, and they made the planning and day-of experience so enjoyable. The events team is accommodating, organized, and very buttoned-up. During the months leading up to our wedding, we felt 100% supported by Lindsey and the in-house team. For a property that hosts weddings on most weekends, the team always made us feel like we were their only client. The recommended vendors were fantastic, and the vendors we sourced on our own were welcomed and directed flawlessly. The food was great and the venue worked with us to curate the perfect menu for our guests. On our wedding weekend, Kim served as our day-of coordinator, exceeding our expectations with her efficiency and helpfulness. Beyond her professionalism (she’s amazing at her job) she was a joy to be around, which makes a big difference on such a special day! The other on-site staff at the property were also incredibly welcoming and helpful to us and our guests. Overall, we cannot say more good things about Inns of Aurora. “Where do I even begin. I called Sharon at Gilbertsville Farmhouse 8 days after Dave proposed to me. I was a bride on a mission with a vision and I knew (even after just looking at pictures online), that this was the place that would host the most special weekend of our lives. Sharon - first and foremost thank you for absolutely everything. You have a vision for design like no other and a heart of gold that shines through. To say that we love you is an understatement and I feel like we will be family forever. (Me and dave will be back every year don’t you worry). Brandon…where do I even start with you!?! Thank you for dealing with my type A personality and excel sheets seamlessly. I don’t know why things happen the way they do but I know for a fact that you were supposed to be apart of our big weekend. Thank you will never justify how we feel about you and like I already told you l, I’m never deleted our group chat because we are in fact best friends. Every couple is lucky to have you and I thank god every single second for the over the top and outstanding emotional support you provided to us. (LOL) KATIE! You are just magic, this place would not be the same without you there. I don’t know how you do what you do with such ease but I truly smile at the thought of you. I don’t want to brag but one of my favorite moments (besides the little dress flashing) will be you walking me down the aisle. I don’t think many people will be able to say that and I am honored.
