He made sure to check in with us regularly and follow up with questions about the timing of the day and our particular rituals. When rain threatened to change how we handled our ceremony, Zac and his second shooter, Ally, could roll with the punches, ensuring we still got every photo we wanted (and more)! Extra props to Ally for helping all the groomsmen get their boutonnières pinned on securely. If it wasn't clear already, the photos we received were stunning and totally encapsulated what the day felt like. We are transported back to that day every time we look at them, and the feelings of joy, hope, and excitement wash over us again. Zac did a great job touching up the photos as needed and provided a great first draft of the physical albums we added to our order (the quality of those was also excellent). Overall, Zac is your guy if you're looking for an energetic, fun, professional, and knowledgeable photographer who will capture every aspect of your special day. “We first chatted with Max over Facetime and based on his cool, confident personality, we knew he would be able to do an outstanding job with our Boston Desi-American fusion wedding. His style of photography and editing stood out from the scores of photographers we were picking from on IG. Max worked closely with me (the bride) to coordinate themes, vibes, outfits, and location for our engagement photoshoot. While we were a whole hour late to our shoot because of Boston traffic, he was extremely kind and accommodating, making the most out of the situation and still delivering amazing photos. When I received the photos from him, my husband and I were blown away – he did some stunning portraits of myself, as well as gorgeous shots of us as a couple. We then coordinated wedding details – we opted for a video and photo package. Max’s team was so professional and knew where to situate themselves throughout the day once I gave them my schedule for the day – from Bridal gowngetting readyjewlery details, First Look, Bridal party portraits, Family portraits, solos, ceremony shots, cocktail hour, all the way to reception and EVERYTHING in between. The day was full of surprises and delays (as are most wedding days with lots of family and moving parts) but Max and his team DID NOT MISS A BEAT. They managed my bridal groom party with ease, and rallied everyone necessary for all the requested photos. Do I need to mention the beautiful final shots? “Shukhrat and his wife Rachel just shot our June 8th wedding and we couldn't be happier. They were amazing to work with and the photos are phenomenal! About the pictures: Shukhrat is versatile and very skilled. When we took our engagement photos he provided us with various styles of photos and editing, and then used our feedback to guide the photos he took at our wedding. He is also flexible. We got married in a city park and there were wayyyy more people in the park than we were expecting at 6:00pm at night. Without missing any of the candid details or true-to-life colors that we wanted, Shukhrat was able to frame the photos and/or alter the lighting so that the park goers were barely visible in the background. Both Shukhrat and Rachel are also very skilled at giving direction when needed, but letting you do your own thing the rest of the time. Neither my husband nor I have a lot of experience in front of a camera—they gave us enough direction to feel confident, without making us feel stifled or overly posed. We wanted photos that felt organic and genuine, and they were really able to capture that. Working with Shukhrat and Rachel: The two of them were a dream to work with. Incredibly professional--very communicative, punctual, quick turnaround time on photos. And they are also just lovely people. You spend so much time on your wedding day with your photographers, it's really important to feel comfortable with them, and we certainly did. They brought both a fun, but calming energy, easing our pre-wedding jitters before the ceremony, and leaning into the excitement as the night went on. Although we hardly know them, they felt like friends. We are so glad we booked Shukhrat for our wedding!”
