Our historic 1890's barn provides the perfect architectural background to create a magical evening for you and your guests. Lean in to the pastoral setting with simple wildflowers and candlelight or create a space of light, flowers and decor that rivals any setting. The space is available for dinner, dancing and a late night after party.

Ventfort Hall is an imposing Jacobean Revival-style mansion built in 1893 for Sarah Morgan, the sister of JP Morgan. Our space, while very glamorous, is still a work in progress. As such, we only rent the renovated first floor and grounds of the mansion for private events.

Let the historic Columbia County Fairhouse and its surrounding buildings create the perfect backdrop for your unique country wedding. Decorate with hanging lanterns from the barn rafters or hay bales with wildflower bouquets to create the rustic charm and atmosphere you dream of for your special day. While your bridal party has photos taken by the barns, pond and fountain, your guests will enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on adjacent lawns and in the show ring among the whiskey barrels of summer flowers and shade trees. Each wedding is customized utilizing the existing wooden top tables and restaurant furniture. Guests can also enjoy on-site luxury accommodations at the Diamond Mills Hotel.

The petite Pond House offers a setting for cocktail hours or after parties. Wherever you decide to host your celebration on the grounds, you will surely be followed by the area's beauty and enjoy a unique celebration experience. From a get-ready suite for your pre-ceremony preparations to essential event rentals to decorate your space, the venue can provide it. The in-house coordinator will also work closely with you to understand your ideas and needs to ensure a seamless planning process. Besides weddings, the property can throw engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, and birthdays. Outside vendors can also work on the premises to ensure everything is tailored to your vision. Elmartin Farm derives its name from the initials and last name of Everett Lawrence Martin, Sr, father to Everett Lawrence Martin Jr., known as "Gus," who with his wife, Dodi are the current owners of the farm. Presently, sons, Kim and Shawn, operate and manage the farm. They are the 8th generation of ancestral Martins who began farming in Cheshire, MA in 1790. By the late 1950s, Elmartin Farm had become a major dairy farm in the Northern Berkshire County. Its herd grew to 80 milkers and 80 head of youngstock. Together, the herd filled the new barn which had been completed in 1952. The barn, with the addition of a milking parlor, remains the focal point of Elmartin Farm.
