“Hiring elexis was the best decision we made. I can't say enough good things about our experience with Elexis and I cannot imagine what our wedding would have been without her. She knew our venue better than anyone and worked incredibly hard to give us the most amazing wedding. Elexis goes above and beyond in every single way, whether it be driving to another state to try a baker or finding the perfect cake stand on etsy or literally cleaning the bridal suite while the bride and groom dance...she's a magic making machine and truly cares about her clients and the events she plans. We began planning with Elexis at the start of covid for a June 2021 wedding at the Lake Placid Lodge. Elexis helped us navigate many, many issues with the venue and all of the constantly changing NYS covid regulations. Every single tiny detail was thought of; details that we never, ever would have thought of on our own. Elexis helped us with everything down to flatware, linens, the hunt for perfect chargers, and flowers and candles that I knew nothing about. She came up with multiple floor plans that would optimize the space and guest experience, she found us transportation for our welcome party, helped with rehearsal dinner and sunday brunch planning, gave us welcome bag ideas, and recommendations for the best vendors the area had. Thanks to her guidance, we were able to book amazing vendors with time to spare and did not have to book any second choices. The timeline she provides is excellent and will keep you on track to have the best wedding ever. Elexis works tirelessly for her clients throughout the planning process and throughout the event as well. It was raining on our wedding day (plan A was outdoor ceremony) and Elexis came to me and told me that the venue was adamant about setting up our ceremony indoors, and asked if I still wanted to try for an outdoor ceremony. I told her I did, and about five minutes later I saw the chairs being set up on the lawn. Elexis was there with us late into the night/early into the morning making sure everything was going off perfectly and getting things ready for our brunch the following day. She even cleaned up our bridal suite and made sure we had extra wedding cake slices in our mini fridge. Long story short: If anything went wrong on our wedding day, I didn't know about it, and our wedding was so beautiful and detailed that it put anything on my pinterest boards to shame. Now that the wedding is over, I truly miss talking to Elexis nearly every day!”

“Hiring Dhalia Events was one of the best decisions we made when we were planning our wedding. I am skeptical of the wedding industry in general, but I am convinced that wedding coordinators like Deliece and Melissa are skilled, experienced professionals in a niche field who can make a huge difference in the quality of your experience. And what's the point if you don't get to enjoy your wedding experience? Here are some specific things that Deliece and Melissa did that were super-helpful on the day of: 1) I couldn't find the body tape I had bought, but they had some on hand. 2) I needed to stay hydrated after I got my makeup done, so they provided straws so I could drink without messing up my lipstick. 3) The groom's vest had fallen to the bottom of his garment bag after we dry cleaned it, but they had a portable steamer and were able to get the wrinkles out. 4) They arranged a tent for our DJ for the ceremony, which was outdoors, when they discovered at the last minute that the contract required a tent rain-or-shine. 5) They made sure we ate dinner (and dessert). 6) They made sure waitstaff were replacing our drinks at regular intervals during the reception. 7) They brought a handheld portable fan, which was a lifesaver since it was more than 90 degrees outside. 8) They provided transportation around the property, which was a vineyard that wasn't very walkable in my nice shoes. 9) A friend left something in their car by accident at the end of the night, and they arranged to mail it to her a few days later. All of these things were nice surprises. It's not like we asked them to bring straws, it didn't even occur to us that we'd need them. But Deliece and Melissa brought them anyway because this is their job and they know what they're doing. They were PREPARED. I also want to note that I did not buy full wedding planning services from them, just month-of coordination, but they never treated me like a less important client. There were cases in the months leading up to the wedding where I asked them for help that was actually outside the scope of services we had agreed on, and they were very professional in letting me know that it wasn't included in my package. I appreciate that they enforced their boundaries so politely and respectfully-- I like that in a person. Overall, I can't recommend Dhalia Events highly enough.”

Throughout the planning process, she constantly reminded us to cherish every moment and made sure that we were doing/making choices that made us happy. “It was so fun getting to spend time with her and getting to know her during this process. Cathy made every little detail of our fairytale wedding come true. She was terrific during the planning process. When I wanted to try to handle projects myself, she stepped back and let me handle them, but was always there if I needed advice or help with anything. When I needed her to be more involved and hands on, I felt completely confident and comfortable letting her take things in the direction that she felt was best. She was always quick to answer emails and talk on the phone to hash out big picture items or last minute details. The week leading up to the wedding Cathy was AMAZING. We spent almost 2 hours on the phone making sure every last detail was taken care of and exactly the way I envisioned it. She ran our ceremony in the pouring rain and was always cheerful and positive, she was there for me for moral support all afternoon while I was getting ready, she helped setup the barn and ceremony beautifully and made sure every detail was in order. During the ceremony and reception, she made sure that my husband and I were taken care of the entire evening. “The best decision I made when planning our wedding was hiring Menaza, AKA ‘Superwoman’!!! My husband and I are an international couple that were looking to get married in New York and therefore needed to hire someone to assist us. Menaza’s resume and brochure was impressive! But when I spoke to her personally, we hit it off right away and hiring her was a no brainer! She was the calm I needed for my Type C/A personality! Menaza wore a million hats to help us pull off the wedding of our dreams! She handled all of the vendor bookings, contracts, logistics, and organizing of timelines. She even provided bonus services of putting together all of our florals! She created our bouquets, boutonnieres, table centre pieces and provided all the little details, like our card box, table seating mirror, welcome sign and offered to create and print our stationary. She brainstormed with us on concepts, helped us create a wedding & bar logo and accompanied us to venue visits, during our several visits to New York. Even when I had issues ordering items online, she stepped up and ordered them on my behalf! She advised on the tipping culture of the US, assisted with our marriage licence & officiant application and was open and honest about what sort of costs we should expect for certain items. Menaza researched and secured some amazing vendors for us and ensured that on our wedding day we were taken care of! (IE, I expressed to her that I really wanted sushi during cocktail hour... and while I was taking family photos she showed up with two plates stacked full of sushi with a BIG SMILE on her face! Lol) I was SOOOOO HAPPY!! One thing that stood out about Menaza over other planners we interviewed was that she was always available, we weren’t limited to a number of phone calls & contact times. I messaged her with every thought I had and within a reasonable amount of time she responded. We are still getting rave reviews on how amazing our wedding was and it would not have been possible without her. We had many family members and guests that were asking to meet her as they were so impressed!! Menaza went above and beyond to be there for us, even as she celebrated her own life’s blessings, we are forever grateful for her! HIRE HER! You won’t regret it!”

We hired Kris because this was a destination wedding for us and we needed help with locating vendors and wanted to feel like we had someone that we could work with in the area that was familiar with the industry and able to coordinate day of for us. I had my initial call with Kris and immediately felt comfortable and listened to with any questions or concerns I had with planning. She offered us different vendors for catering, rentals, dj and cake. She setup up tastings and meetings with all vendors making sure we felt comfortable and confident with every vendor we went with. Kris went above and beyond being CCd on every email and on every call. She provided quick and accurate information throughout the planning process. We ran into issues with our venue along the way and Kris was right there beside us helping us and working through it.
