“If you love nature and want a fairy garden vibe to your wedding, then choose Palmettos on the Bayou!! We got married under a huge, mossy oak tree, and held our reception on the patio deck that is built around cypress trees and right up on the Bayou (no mosquitos or bugs either!). The wedding coordinator there makes everything so easy and they help guide you along the way. There is a cottage on site you can rent to get ready in, which is so spacious and cute! We got on site at 8am, and didn't have to leave the property until post reception! I seriously couldn't have asked of a better experience and the best part is we get to go back for an anniversary dinner every year. I will always recommend this venue to anyone who asks. 10000/10!!!”

Situated in the heart of Olde Towne Slidell, LA, The Venue hosts weddings and other special occasions. Characterized by a chic and minimalist design, this modern event facility is a blank canvas that can be tailored to your unique tastes and preferences. The Venue consists of a cavernous warehouse-style banquet hall, which features white walls and large windows that bathe the floors in natural light. Packages come with tables, black cross back chairs, white linens, and optional décor for your table centerpieces. In addition, the staff will help with setup and breakdown. “Louisiana Castle It’s such a joy getting married here! The venue is of course beautiful and had many of our guests going “What? A castle?” Everyone loved the experience of being there and being able to take photos on the Castle steps. Yes, it is far from the city, but we warned our guests and they were okay to drive home. This venue was a lot cheaper than others in New Orleans and the food was good as well. We wished we could have tried the food options prior to making selections, but it ended up fine regardless. Dolly is so sweet and makes sure that your financials are on track without being overbearing. Mary was instrumental in making the day go smoothly. My side of the family has a language barrier, and even they thought she was amazing and so easy to work with. She took care of so much and used her experience to make everything run well while also allowing us to do what we wanted as the bride and groom. Our bartenders were running late due to a van breakdown, and the Castle staff got all hands on deck to unload the alcohol and make sure that cocktail hour would still happen as planned. The views here made for the most incredible photos. Even better was staying at the Castle overnight – we got to walk around after all the guests had left, and the views from the Juliette Suite the next morning were gorgeous. The cleanup staff were so considerate and had taken their shoes off so that they wouldn’t wake us up while they cleaned the ballroom! Overall – we had a dream wedding and can’t recommend Louisiana Castle enough.”

For our wedding we had her for our an engagement photoshoot, bridal photoshoot, rehearsal dinner and wedding day. She also shot our engagement party. “My husband and I got married at Beau Chene the Saturday after Christmas and it was absolutely beautiful the club had the most beautiful Christmas decor that blended in so nicely with our decorations! We had to get married inside due to the weather but it ended up being so beautiful! Especially with the fire place going and the Christmas’s tree in the background. The club was able to flip the room for the reception so fast and the staff was attentive the entire night! Also, Ashlee the events coordinator at the club is AMAZING!
