All staffed and catered in-house, The grand Greek revival facility with its towering columns continues to honor the legacy of Charles Ellis, a local entrepreneur. Built in 1932, the location was used as a school for girls around the Philadelphia area. Now, Finley Catering plans to bring a totally new dimension to our brides and corporate clients by combining our culinary expertise and top-notch service with the idyllic grounds for an outdoor ceremony or cocktail hour along with the state-of-the-art grandiose Ballroom for your dinner and reception. Clothier of Wynnewood, a beautifully renovated venue with deep historical roots, once the home of prominent Philadelphia merchant Issac Clothier. Located on five stunning acres, the venue offers an expansive terrace, manicured landscaping, and a modern ballroom, combining timeless elegance with modern style. BLDG39 is a historic and industrial chic style wedding venue with modern accents located in the Bridesburg section of Philadelphia. The venue includes free parking available and a 30 x 30 seasonal tent. Originally erected in 1917 during wartimes, the space has been thoughtfully renovated to preserve the history within its walls. We invite you to come make your mark on history! Our maximum fully seated indoor capacity is 130 guests, and our casual standing reception-style indoor capacity is approximately 150 guests. The use of our outdoor space under the tent increases to approximately 175 guests total standing reception-style (venue + tent).

Sitting atop twenty-three acres of picturesque Chester County countryside, the exquisite Main Line estate known as Hilltop House includes grand formal gardens, fountains, apple orchards, and sloping meadows. Built in 1894, this unique and elegant mansion in Devon, Pennsylvania, was home to several prominent Main Line families until it was renovated for public use in 2005. Generous rooms with multiple entryways provide easy traffic flow throughout the spacious wood-paneled interiors, verandas, and terraces. The venue can accommodate up to 135 guests and has ample convenient parking, just steps from the front entryway.

At the heart of the thriving early industrial community known as Rittenhouse Town, the first paper mill in America was built. It all began when, in 1687, papermaker William Rittenhouse followed other Quaker and Mennonite families emigrating to the newly formed neighborhood of Germantown (founded in 1683). William partnered with Philadelphia’s first printer, purchased a 20-acre plot of land along Paper Mill Run (a tributary of the Wissahickon Creek) and, with the help of his son Nicholas, built the first paper mill in British North America that otherwise could only be delivered from England. For the next 40 years, the Rittenhouse family were the only papermakers in America.

The Ocean City Yacht Club, established in 1901, is rich in both history and tradition. We have one of the most active and competitive sailing programs in the Mid Atlantic region including bay and offshore racing. The 2023 season marks the 122nd year that the Ocean City Yacht Club (OCYC) has been in existence, an organization steeped in family values and tradition. The Club has a multitude of activities for members to enjoy: sunset meals on the bay, Saturday night theme parties, bridge, golf, fishing, and sailing/boating events. There are innumerable events to socialize with friends and meet new people.
