The website he makes each couple for their event was very easy to navigate, and was a helpful tool for us to know which parts throughout the night to plan for and what songs need to be selected in order to make our wedding personal and run smoothly. Having never been married before, it was incredibly helpful to see a drop-down list of events, traditions, people, etc. that we may have to account for and could choose to do/ opt out of for our own wedding, all laid out through the website he created for us. Whenever we emailed Bill with a question, he responded almost immediately and was to the point. He works with our venue, Kings Mills in Media, very often so we easily trusted him to know how to navigate set up and any potential problems that may have come up. On the day of the wedding, he was friendly, professional, had good, high energy, and played all the songs we asked him to. I fell ill just before the event and he upped his communication to make sure I could rest easy that the event would go well. It was an outdyevent so I provided him with a pop up canopy for shade. We went through all family intro pronunciations and he double checked with everyone the day-of to make sure everything was correct. He worked with our day-of coordinator to ensure the timeline was correct and everything ran smoothly. We gave him a few spotify playlists that he stuck to very well, with a few additions that were perfect. He read the room very well and everyone had a great time - kids, adults, and older relatives. The midnighters were super easy to work with! They performed for both our ceremony and cocktail hour. They have a long list of songs they are able to play for the procession and recession, and learned one song from scratch for us - a song they had never played before - and it sounded amazing. Kelton provided an extensive list of potential songs to play in a shared Google Document with columns for “play” and “do not play” which was great. Also, I was impressed that he attended the walk through of the Whittemore House a month prior to the wedding, asking pertinent questions of the Whittemore staff about the placement of various things and how best to provide the sound amplification that would be needed. He provided wireless mics which worked really well for the toasts. Kelton did a great job as the master of ceremony and his mix of the selected music was fun and fabulous. He had the crowd dancing, rocking to the music. Many of the older folks told me that they hadn’t danced in years but were having lots of fun doing so then. Having him on our wedding team instilled so much confidence in me, my daughter and new son-in-law, who is an amateur DJ. They were so taken by Kelton that, if possible, they would like to attend future events at which Kelton is the DJ!! I HIGHLY recommend him.”

We happened upon the band’s website via The Knot’s suggested music provider list and absolutely loved their sample videos, songs, pictures, and testimonials. From the get go, Laraine was a pleasure to work with - always clear, on point with her answers, considerate, personable, and compassionate. We spoke at length via several phone calls and email exchanges about our history as a couple and our music preferences and then we met in person to go over all the details and narrow down the list of our favorite songs, She paid close attention to the pronunciation of names, nailed the parent dance song suggestions and the timing of the different reception activities. Then Laraine, Keith and the band did an amazing job at compiling an extremely successful playlist customized to our wedding. Katrice’s voice is stunning and so versatile, Sam was the perfect host, Keith was just so fun to chat with, and everyone in the band was just phenomenal!
