After moving to Beacon, NY around the same time, it made sense to start an official wedding music business to share their love of music with some of the many happy couples getting married in the Hudson Valley. One thing they love about playing music for weddings is the variety that is required of them. Every gig is different and they all happen on one of the happiest days of the clients' lives!

The Brooklyn Beats is the inaugural event/wedding band founded by music industry veteran, Jon Shiffman. Jon is best known for his live work as a drummer for Grammy winner Jack Antonoff in the bands Steel Train and Bleachers.
