With the pandemic we saw a lot of people change their wedding plans to micro weddings, backyard weddings, and elopements. Though the reason for these changes came from public health concerns, I think there has been a shift in how we look at weddings. There is something so beautiful about the intimacy of the closest of family and friends gathered at your home or on the beach. At 11 years old I made a short film with a VHS camera, and have been filming things ever since. I love being behind a camera, viewing the world through a variety of lenses, and am always striving for new inspired ways to film. When not making creative videos, I love eating Mexican food, watching movies, and playing with my dogs. I also volunteer and foster for Rhode Home Rescue, a non-profit animal rescue.

I grew up playing in the woods, collecting natural materials and gardening with my father from the time I could walk. I was always a gardener first. Everywhere I lived I've left a perennial garden behind. In college, I was taking a walk in the fall to unwind from exams collecting pods, dried flowers and grass as I went. Upon return I wove a wreath from my collection. A friend stopped by admired what I had done, she asked what was in it, I told her- oh, just a bunch of weeds. At which she said you little weedweaver you! It stuck and years later it only seemed fitting to use it as my own.
