Having a background in hospitality and design for all of my adult life (plus some!) has allowed me to come on this journey of wedding and event planning. I am passionate about helping couples bring their dream wedding to life while telling the story of their love. I know that wedding planning can be overwhelming and daunting, so let me be your advocate, friend, and confidant in this season of your life.

My experience started in the hotel industry as a catering assistant for a Holiday Inn in Alexandria, Virginia and as the Executive Assistant to the owner and General Manager at the Hilton Hotel in Whittier, California. After moving to New Mexico I started my wedding planning business, All About You Weddings and Events. I was also recruited to teach a wedding planning course at the University of New Mexico’s education extension branch which I did for three years. That experience and the ability to help nurture and help others who wanted to enter the field really helped strengthen my own business.

I started in the wedding industry when I found bridal world in 2018. Building a career in bridal brought me back to Los Angeles from Seattle, back to family and into a world where I could immerse myself in all things bridal and weddings. I worked my way up as a stylist to the couture level, managing one of the flagship stores in LA and specializing in custom, one of a kind designs as a stylist. I learned more and more about weddings, and one day started day-of coordinating for friends and family. That grew to a passion and led to the birth of Serenity Weddings.

I was born and raised near the flat irons of Boulder, I bleed blue and orange for the Broncos, and I just can’t get over the beauty of this place I call home. Summer nature hikes and fall drives to see the stunning colors are some of my favorite activities. Travel speaks to my soul and discovering new experiences brings me true joy. I’ve been planning trips for myself and my friends for years including girls' trips, group birthday celebrations, couples' vacations, and my own destination wedding and honeymoon(s).
