“We came across Doko PRIME nMedia through one of our friends’ instagram story. Upon looking at their profile and the candid pictures they take we decided to reach out to them which later happened to be one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day.
We needed a wedding photographer/videographer who had an idea about traditional Nepali-Hindu wedding as we didn’t want to miss any of our special moments. After having chatted on the phone, we loved how easy it was to talk to Bipin and how he knew what exactly we were looking for. Even in a short 10 mins call, we bonded over our shared love of food . During our next call, we virtually met with Sanjay along with Bipin. After meeting with them, it became clear that we had found a great match, both in terms of professionalism and personality.
The connection and ease we found with them made the entire process go so smooth. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that we usually are the most awkward posers and the most camera shy people. But, Bipin and Sanjay made it so easy on us that during our pre-wedding photoshoot we felt like we were actually hanging out with our friends. We initially were hesitant about our shoot but considering their suggestion we decided to go with it. When we look at those pictures today, we feel glad that we did it. We could head towards our big day with the best pictures and the most magical experience right before our wedding.
A day before the wedding day, was my Mehendi. There was a change of plan just a night before our Mehendi, and we decided to go with HSNC, Morrisville for our Mehendi venue. Sanjay and Bipin were so committed to give us the best experience that they immediately adjusted with our change and drove from Charlotte to Morrisville to be on time to capture the groom’s entrance for the Mehendi. There were many different emotions flowing through the room that night. To our surprise this team managed to capture each of those both in photos and videos. You guys really treasured all those moments just for us to feel it every time we see them.
On the wedding day, things ran a bit late due to some rituals taking longer time than expected (which is so typical for a traditional hindu wedding), but this team was A-gaming on their end. From being at the Bridal suite at 6:30 am in the morning for a bride getting ready shoot to driving down to groom’s house which was 45 minutes from the venue (DoubleTree by Hilton, Durham) to capture groom’s getting ready and ‘janti anmaune’. They were making sure that both the bride and the groom gets the best of what they could provide. While Sanjay was taking care of the groom-side, Bipin was making sure that Bride’s side were well taken care of. They made sure that every ‘aaha’ and ‘awww’ moments were captured from 8 hours long wedding rituals.
On a practical note, both Sanjay and Bipin were consistently communicative and punctual throughout the entire process. Beyond their technical expertise they’re a joy to work with.
