I've been djing since I was 15 years old. I had a fascination for parties and events at an early age. I tagged along with my brother who dj'd at house parties back in the early 80's. I was hooked after seeing how much joy the music brought out in the crowd. I started buying my own 12" records, and it evolved into doing my own gigs: house parties, jr. high & high school dances, colleges, raves, underground parties, night clubs, weddings, corporate events, and so on. Hi, my name is Cris and I am the owner of Red Velvet DJ! I actually started DJ-ing at the age of 11 (1996). In my early 20's I transitioned to DJ-ing at various clubs & lounges throughout the Chicagoland area. (Where I grew up and lived till 2019) Some of them include Dragonfly, Bella Lounge, Republic, Wet, Waterhouse, and Rebel in Wrigleyville. I have focused primarily on weddings since 2009. My open format mixing style is very diverse, so I am able to blend all genres of music together! I live in Temecula with my wife, 2 children, and 2 dogs. I have a love for basketball, wine, long walks, and vacuuming around the house. =)
