I have been planning events for the last 20 years, on the side. I have always loved hosting people, and I've done a few bridal and baby showers. At my previous job, I helped plan several employee luncheons and holiday parties, with about 100-150 employees attending. I even led the planning a few times. In the summers of 2021 and 2022, I became an on-site wedding coordinator for a local venue, with 5 weddings each summer. In 2023, I coordinated 11 weddings (from full planning to day-of coordination), a large gala for non-profits, an annual fundraiser, a memorial service (for 300+ guests) and a surprise birthday party.

Ashley with Blue Lark Events was everything we needed and more when it came to having a day of coordinator for our marriage in Oregon at the Heceta Head Bed and Breakfast! We planned everything sight unseen, never being in the actual state we were getting married in while planning, and never having met Ashley in person. When my husband and I started our journey to plan our wedding, I knew we were going to need some help. We are non traditional, with very eclectic tastes, and we were going to need someone special to help us pull off all of our insane ideas. I extensively researched over 20 coordinators, had a phones calls with 5 different companies, but ultimately I knew Ashley from Rose Event Co. was going to be the one. From the start she personable, intelligent, and made me feel understood in what our vision was for our special day. Throughout the process she was punctual with all of our appointments, gave helpful suggestions, and made me feel confident leaving my type A personality and needs in her hands. The weekend of the wedding came, and a lot of creative problem solving as well. We rented a private mansion for our event and did the rehearsal the day before. Ashley was there early, having already communicated with my other vendors and the venue to make sure we would be prepared for our big day. What we didn't expect was the kitchen under construction, furniture and decor that had not been moved at our previous requests(but promised), rooms that we had planned for, but could no longer use, and the Venue staff not "remembering" months worth of text and phone call conversations about our needs and expectations, as well as their promises and what they were supposed to deliver. There were other issues, but I digress. Ashley immediately stepped in with ideas and to be the go between with the Venue, and to help troubleshoot the long list of problems that had now come up. The night before was stressful for my Husband and I, not knowing if we were going pull this off, but I knew with Ashley, we were in good hands. The day of she brought her A game, a stunning red dress, and handled business. She was not afraid to get involved and make sure everything we wanted happened. She listened to our needs, knew when to step up or step down, was super flexible in our timeline and made sure to handle any issues that arose during the wedding. Her ability to read a situation and adapt to the issues at hand made her the perfect fit to our crazy ideas. She has incredible creative problem solving and is kind hearted and hard working. If it wasn't for Ashley, we could not have pulled off our day. I would recommend her 10x's over, to any bride that wants an absolute badass by their side. She handles business, and gives confidence to her clients. Thank you Ashley and Rose Event Co. for turning what could have been a disaster into a day dream!

City & Terrace planned my birthday party in NYC, and it was truly the most amazing party I have EVER been to! It took me a few weeks to write this review. Nothing I wrote seemed like enough to fully explain our gratitude to Andy & Double A Weddings & Events!! Andy was an absolutely amazing collaborator on how to make our wedding day OURS. Nothing was off limits, too crazy or too non-traditional. Andy was extremely gracious & patient w/any questions we had or curveballs we threw at her. I was frozen & overwhelmed trying to plan our wedding on my own, the best thing I did for our wedding (besides snag the groom) was hiring Andy & Double A! Not only did she bring a wealth of knowledge on weddings & overall event planning, but she was incredibly organized, attentive, responsive, professional, easy to work with & most importantly (to me, at least) was able to bring my stress level down w/just a “touch base” call or email so I knew we were doing great w/our timeline.
