Serre’s 70-acre grounds with breathtaking scenery, rustic meets modern barn that accommodates up to 200 guests, covered patio seating, custom-built farmhouse tables, luxurious décor, outdoor bar, fire pit, and wedding coordinator to help plan it all will make sure your loved ones are not only comfortable; they’ll feel like it’s their special day, too. Our wedding venue is unique because the ceremony, reception, and lodging overlook the beautiful Roaring River. You are just a few feet from the river at all times. The views are amazing, and few vineyards in the local area can rival the natural beauty of our setting. The vineyard has an elegant old-world stone entrance, ponds on each side of the main entrance road, and a beautiful stone fountain. As you pass the door, the vineyards unfold before you – the view is reminiscent of a French hillside vineyard. We are a full-service resort with event venues, lodging, a hot tub building, Chez Josephine Restaurant, a beer/wine tasting room, RV Park, and Harvest Host. We have one of the most scenic sites for your event, with 1.5 miles of riverbanks along the Roaring River. Few sites have an actual river, perhaps a creek, but this is the east prong of the Roaring River that flows down from Stone Mountain.

Nesselrod on the New is a 13-acre estate in the heart of the New River Valley. Overlooking the historic New River, Nesselrod offers the perfect combination of privacy while being minutes from everything you would need. Built in 1939, the house features a cozy Bed & Breakfast and several outdoor venues to host your wedding. Nesselrod on the New has several advantages compared to other wedding venues. We offer rooms for the wedding party and/or family to stay in, we are located close to restaurants, stores, golf courses, and Universities. Essentially your guests wouldn’t have to drive into the middle of nowhere! Our beautiful Gazebo and courtyard is capable of seating up to 200 people while the same is true for our covered Pavilion.
