The business was opened in 1999 by Designer/Florist , Sherry Grimes who has always had a love for the beauty of flowers and plants since her childhood gardening in her home island of Barbados. She took her love a step further by learning how to design flowers and plants professionally at the New York Botanical Garden and by gaining hands-on experience from many flower shops and floral designers before venturing out on her own.

After shooting my first wedding (which was a last minute, three day notice, emergency for a co-worker) I realized this is what I want to do with my life. I was born and partially raised in Southern California. After a few years + an exceptionally long cross country road trip - my parents decided to move us to the east coast. We've been complaining about the beaches ever since. My sister was always the artistic one. She sold her first piece while she was still in middle school, it took me a lot longer to figure out what I wanted to do. When I started doing photography - I honestly didn't realize how much I'd love it. It's not just about the lighting, filter, or the pursuit of the perfect Instagram feed.
