As you walk into the Little Chapel in-the-Woods you are entering into a tradition. Located on the edge of Texas Woman’s University, the chapel is a secluded sanctuary that has held weddings since September 1939, a few months before its dedication by Eleanor Roosevelt. We have two beautiful ballrooms to host the wedding reception of your dreams! The Chapel attendant is present to set up the chapel for the wedding, set up the sound system and instruct your vendors on usage, and to oversee the facility. They will be happy to provide limited guidance and answer any questions you may have about the rehearsal or processional. Several years ago we had purchased some property with a run-down old barn on it. As we restored the old barn we had several people ask if they could rent it for their upcoming wedding. The barn had no bathrooms, no parking, and a dirt floor - so we graciously declined but the seed had been planted. We love building + design, we’re dreamers at heart, and we genuinely love people and their stories. After leaving our daily jobs in ministry we ventured out to find the perfect 20 acres to build our dream on.
