“Bobby was the DJ for our wedding in September 2023. Leading up to the wedding, he was easy to communicate with and planning was seamless with the portal he uses. Day of the wedding, things ran smoothly and on time. While the dance floor was packed the entire time, not many must play songs were played (although that may have been a miscommunication on my end after asking him to not play a certain “must play” song). “It has been extremely difficult for us to put such a wonderful experience into words. Our experience began when stumbling upon a band, PopStyle, who we had never heard of before. After reaching out we were pleased to get a quick and genuine response back from Karl. From the first response the group clearly took our questions to heart and responded in a way which we felt comfortable that we had been heard, even after we had been forward about never hearing of them before. After deciding to go with them for the wedding night, we met in person to go over the night. Karl is a true professional and added some suggestion where we needed it and let us steer the ship as we wanted to. Ultimately we were happy and comfortable to put the night in his hands, they did not disappoint. As the wedding came around, it was clear that PopStyle knew how to perform. We received more compliments on the band throughout the night and on the impressive skill on just about every individual musician in the group. Which is something to say as more than a few of our guests have professional backgrounds in music. What struck us most was not only the raw talent and the ability to completely nail each song, but that the band itself had fun. You would never know they were not just a group of friends getting together to jam out. They danced, smiled, laughed, and even stepped into the crowd once or twice to have an epic horn or vocal solo back and forth. We will lastly say that one of our biggest complaints leaving weddings (DJ or Band) is when the musicians do not read the room and only play what they want, instead of play for the crowd. PopStyle knew how to direct the feeling of the night. Each song flowed from the last and set them up for the next set. They seemed to hit ever genre with expertise which gave something to everyone in the crowd. Our only reservations going into this was the lack of other reviews out there, given they are a newer band. We only hope that this speaks volumes to how incredible they are and comforts you in knowing you are hiring the best we have heard. “Justin was lovely to work with from the start. He was booked for another wedding, but he paired us up with Rob, an associate DJ of his. Both Rob and Justin were so so fun to work with. Rob took the time to text or set up whatever zoom calls we felt we needed. For the actual day, Rob was amazing. We had dinner service, reception, and "after party". Robs killed it with his flow between songs, and was incredibly accommodating and flexible if we had any requests in the moment, and was able to dodge or handle any "questionable" song requests that came his way. We knew that he always put my husband and I's wishes first. We also had multiple people comment on how good the DJ was during the reception, and after the fact! He also went above and beyond to pull heroics the day of to get some of our DIY spot lighting set up that wasn't set up the night prior. Rob was incredible to work with, and just as fun to chat with. Will miss working with them, but absolutely will be following their journeys and would use them again in a heartbeat! So thankful for Justin and Rob!”

“We hired Elevation Band for our Wedding at the Kimmel Center on 5/18/24. I could write a novel on how amazing they were but will try to keep it brief. They are professional from start to finish (Lea was awesome to work with) and make your entire night from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception of the highest quality. The band is the perfect mix of amazing vocalists who complement each other so well and other top quality band members. The dance floor was packed all night to the extent the dance floor was shaking at one point. The ballads at the beginning of dinner service were breathtaking. I could write something on each member because they are that good!! We knew we wanted an awesome band as that can make your wedding and Elevation did not disappoint. “I don't think a single person at our 10/14/23 wedding received more compliments than DJ Steff. And there's no one I'd be happier to share the spotlight with. To put it simply - DJ Steff is amazing. At every phase of planning -- from our introductory call to walking through the event portal to wedding weekend - DreSteff Events was a dream. DJ Steff was patient, kind, thoughtful, collaborative, and incredibly responsive. He took time to know our specific music tastes, pet peeves, and personalities to bring our wedding ceremony reception to life in a way that felt uniquely us. He found all the songs we wanted to use -- no matter how obscure. The music mics at the ceremony were flawless. The cocktail hour tunes were on point. Our uplighting - both during dinner and when the dance floor was in full swing - set the room perfectly ablaze. And he DID NOT MISS with any of the reception music. “We cannot express enough praise and gratitude for Mitch! We had the privilege of working with him for our wedding on 7/6/24. From preplanning meetings to the wedding day, Mitch was extremely on top of everything to ensure our wedding day ran smoothly. He also communicated with our other vendors on the day of the wedding to ensure everyone was on the same page! When we had our live acoustic guitarist back out somewhat suddenly, we reached out to Mitch for references. To our surprise, he offered us an even better idea to have him play sax and a friend play guitar at the ceremony. All of our guests absolutely loved it and it brought a really special feel to the ceremony. On top of that, the energy he brings to MCing got our guests super excited and involved! Part of our package included having Mitch play Sax at the reception… JUST DO IT! It was so fun having him jump on the dance floor and interact with our guests! “I can’t speak highly enough about this DJ. We found him through a promotion he was running with our photographers. Our venue was certainly not easy to deal with and was trying to control the entire wedding, cut our speeches short, and was rude to almost all of our vendors. However, Chris fought for us at every turn and made sure we had the best reception experience possible. He was incredibly helpful, punctual, made sure all of our wishes came true, all of the announcements we needed got said, and made the overall experience amazing. I don’t think the dance floor was ever empty at any point during the reception, and this was definitely thanks to the high energy vibes he brings with him. “Ryan was truly the whole package. When we were originally pricing out DJs for our wedding, we were a little shocked by how much they are. However, music is very important to both of us, and we had heard enough negative stories from friends and acquaintances that we knew it was important to find a quality DJ. Ryan was recommended to us by an old classmate, and from our first meeting we knew we wanted him to do our wedding. Ryan is so personable, so attentive, and he makes you feel like you're the only/most important wedding he's doing (while still exuding confidence and experience). I can’t say I wasn’t nervous, as they didn’t have any reviews posted yet, but Jon was very helpful in addressing all our concerns and they kept our guests entertained and dancing all night long! They learned our first dance song- Golden Hour by Kacey Musgraves and put their own flair to it, which we loved. They are such a fun mix of rock, jazz, bluegrass, country and played a good mix of songs for all ages. I would also recommend listening to some of their original songs and including them in your day, my husband and I were so happy we did. :) I want to have another wedding just so we can have them play again!”
