“Let’s start with “WOW!” We had a music festival themed wedding with four bands so music was a critical piece of our wedding weekend and the standards were high. We interviewed over 20 bands from the NYC area and decided to go with Vitamin M after really vibing with their band leader, JJ. And boy are we glad we did! JJ worked with us to curate the perfect performance for us and our guests. He was able to balance dance songs and classics alongside some custom requests that went off the beaten path of most traditional weddings from the likes of The Band, Talking Heads and The Clash. He even helped us surprise our guests with a singing introduction of the bride and groom. He took time to get to know us and was always happy to answer any questions we had. This was not a cookie cutter wedding band performance. This is a group of truly talented professional musicians putting on a real show. “There were so many great things about working with Vital that I hardly know where to start. We booked him through Zola after going through an overwhelming number of photographers’ portfolios— many beautiful pictures, but none of them felt like “us”. My husband and I are both camera shy and felt very strongly that we didn’t want to spend the whole day posing; Vital completely understood and delivered. From the first communications, he made us feel heard, understood, and supported. We met him for a small engagement shoot in our neighborhood to get acquainted before the big day, and he even brought a Polaroid camera after hearing our first photo together was a Polaroid— just an extremely thoughtful and personal touch that really encapsulates the way Vital works. Getting the right photographer for your wedding is a huge decision, but if I had it to do over again I’d book Aesthetic Sabotage without question.”
