How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Accepted Answer

Typically, couples book me about 12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Do you work with assistants or other photographers?

I always love to give you the option to hire a second shooter! Second shooters are so important for capturing secondary shots, candids and different perspectives that I may not be able to get on my own. My second shooter will be a seasoned professional and will ensure that no matter what, we will get those perfect shots!

Will you edit all our pictures?

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful.

Question 4

How long will it take to see our pictures?

My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 2-3 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can expect to receive a custom website for your gallery. This will allow you to safely and easily download your photos and share them with friends and family!

Question 5

We have a furry friend attending, is that okay?

Accepted Answer

YES! I am a sucker for animals and I would love nothing more than to photograph your special day that includes a furry little friend.

Question 6

Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance?

Accepted Answer

I will only charge a travel fee if your wedding is over 1 hour away from Manchester, CT. The typical travel fee is an extra $30 for every additional hour (both ways).

Question 7

Will we have the rights to the images?

Accepted Answer

I will retain ownership and editing rights of the photos, but I will produced you with a print release which allows you to post, print and share your images as you wish.

Question 8

How much of a deposit do you require? When is it due?

Accepted Answer

The deposit is 25% of the total package cost (including taxes). This is due at the time of booking and contract signing. We will work out a schedule for the remaining balance at contract singing.

Question 9

Do you carry backup equipment?

Accepted Answer

Yes, always! I never plan to arrive to a wedding without backups. I always carry 2 camera bodies (sometimes 3), a minimum of 3 lenses, 5 batteries, multiple SD cards, 2 flashes and a handful of other accessories.

Question 10

What is the backup plan if you are unable to shoot my wedding for an unexpected reason?

Accepted Answer

In the unlikely event that I will not be able to make it to your wedding, I will ensure that either the second shooter (if hired) is aware and is comfortable shooting alone. Or I will quickly reach out to multiple other seasoned photographers and find one that is available and of equal value.
