Located in the historic Rice Flour and Feed Mill building and beside the White Furniture Lofts, Bright Penny is an anchor location for downtown. As Mebane's first brewery to open, we aimed to hit the ground running with a large number of exceptional beers. Our goal was to provide a variety of craft beers, a family-friendly taproom environment, and all with exceptional customer service. Come enjoy a local beer tasting and check out the menu, which boasts a "Grandma's Eggs" section with creative and delicious deviled eggs to sample as well as Mason Jar cheesecakes. Wine is also offered as well as homemade pizzas including a gluten free option. Live music is often playing at Bright Penny Brewing so be sure to check out the schedule. Our venue at the Science Museum of Western Virginia has 2 floors that you can utilize or rent out one floor for the event. Our space is does not include a caterer but we can offer suggestions to use in the area. We can also obtain a license for liquor, wine and beer. The space can include multiple different exhibits so your guests can play some games and socialize during the event.
