Situated in the pine trees of Nacogdoches, Texas, our 1914 registered historic church was home to one of the oldest African American congregations in the state. Built by famed architect Diedrich Rulfs, Zion Hill Baptist Church is the embodiment of timeless Southern elegance and simplicity. The church has been restored over the years to its former glory and updated with modern heating and cooling systems, security systems, and handicap accessibility so that it may continue to be a pillar of the community through historical preservation and social engagement. We designed our one-of-a-kind reception ballroom to give you the feel of sitting outside under the Tuscan sky.
