World Cafe Live is a nonprofit independent music venue located in the University City neighborhood of Philadelphia. Many people know us for concerts, but we also host weddings, parties, culinary events, music education programs, free community programming, meetings, conferences, and much more. Located in the Graduate Hospital neighborhood of Philadelphia, The Deacon is an innovative multi-use space housed in a historic building and reimagined with modern amenities. With minimalist design touches and Bauhaus-influenced features, our space meticulously and thoughtfully pairs old and new. The dynamic setting, encourages creativity, connection, and collaboration, offering each guest a memorable experience. Eight Bedrooms made for unwinding, exploring, and creating memorable experiences. Each room features luxury bedding and mattresses by Wright, unique layouts, original stained glass windows, Sonos speakers, Wifi and many thoughtfully chosen details.

Bok Vocational High School was built in 1936 to accommodate 3,000 students from across Philadelphia studying subjects like wallpapering, cosmetology, auto mechanics, bricklaying, and more. Due to decreased enrollment it was put up for auction in 2013 and by 2015 Scout, a multidisciplinary design firm with a background in transforming vacant spaces in creative ways, took ownership of the building. Now, Bok has been deemed as a historical building on the National Registry of Historic Places and houses more than 250 businesses and artists. It’s 340,000 square foot structure is also home to a cafe and an award-winning rooftop bar. Located in the heart of South East Philadelphia, a few blocks East of East Passyunk Crossing, BOK sits on an entire city block in a residential neighborhood.
