City Winery brings the bustle of city living and the luxury of wine country together at our urban winery space in the heart of Boston. Our event sales managers guide couples right through the big day to completely transform any or all of our spaces, including our Barrel Room Wine Bar & Restaurant, Concert Venue, Haymarket Lounge, Tasting Room, Gallery, & Cellar Room. Our inclusive wedding packages include passed hors d'oeuvres, a full open bar, plated dinners, and dessert bites. We offer state-of-the-art sound equipment and in-house technical engineer to assist with the most seamless entertainment execution. Wine loving couples can opt to indulge in guided wine tasting, winery tours, and custom label wine to commemorate their special day. From a full house event hosting up to 350 guests in our concert venue to an intimate gathering of less than 50 in our smaller winery-adjacent spaces, City Winery is here to host the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception of your urban winery dreams.

The 1620 Winery once served as rope-braiding building when part of the historic Plymouth Cordage Company (The nations oldest and largest manufacturer of ship rigging since the early 1800’s). In 2015, Bob and Raquel Mullaney undertook a comprehensive renovation of the gorgeous historic building as a labor of love in order to restore and preserve its rugged beauty and its historic character. The project was completed in 2017 and the new 1620 Winery reopened as a fully operational Winery, wedding and events venue. The centerpiece of the Winery, our grand ballroom with its exposed brick walls, soaring beamed ceilings, wide plank floors and massive fireplace, this space creates an unforgettable setting for your celebration.Our newly-completed “Barrel Room” is a gorgeous spot for your on-site ceremony (or a smaller, more intimate reception).

We are situated in the southern Massachusetts and Rhode Island area, approximately one hour from Boston, 20 minutes from Providence, 45 minutes from Newport and one hour from Cape Cod. Our working family farm provides a picturesque background to your event of any kind. We host weddings, bridal and baby showers, corporate and private events.

Our venue features a luxurious 46 x 86' Sperry tent that provides a fully-floored, elegant setting with the capacity to host over 200 guests for dinner and dancing, and 300+ for a standing reception. Inclusive packages bundles essentials but allows you the freedom to choose your own vendors as well.

Drawing inspiration from the grounds of  Newport’s Stoneacre Estate, Stoneacre Garden is a comfortable blend of novelty, whimsy, nostalgia and elegance. Set back from the hustle and bustle of Thames Street and immersed in mature gardens, the beautiful scenery offers a natural ambiance and lush vibe for an al fresco experience in the Courtyard and Terrace Bar or indoor dining in The Greenhouse. Hyla Brook Estate is a stunning band new private 9 acre garden estate that offers breathtaking year round modern farmhouse events. We opened our barn doors in October 2024! We have multiple indoor and outdoor spaces to choose from, ideal for weddings, corporate events, showers, anniversaries holiday parties, and many other special occasions! We offer a full day 15 hour venue rental from May - October (Friday - Sunday) and hourly rentals during the week from November - April. We offer two getting ready suites, 6 options for outdoor / covered ceremony + cocktail hour locations, 6 gender neutral restrooms, option to bring in your own caterer, affordable bar package options, one event per day and so much added value including our Something Borrowed Collection, stocked bathroom baskets + mini fridge in each getting ready suite with complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, snack basket and coffee bar stations!
