Historic Waverly Mansion is located in Marriottsville, Maryland. This 1760's era estate is a the perfect setting of an intimate garden wedding and reception! The Mansion and property is owned and operated by Howard County Government's Recreation and Parks Department and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Historic Waverly Mansion is considered an outdoor venue. The property includes beautifully maintained gardens, the historic Mansion, and rustic barn. During our peak rental season, a 60x40ft event tent is included in wedding rentals. Historic Waverly provides the location and property amenities while the Permit Holder provides all vendors, including an approved full-service Caterer and Wedding Coordinator. Historic Waverly Mansion is a Howard County Park. Howard County Recreation and Park guidelines apply to all scheduled events and are different from privately owned venues. This castle-style building features detailed stonework and turrets, making it an ideal backdrop for any wedding portraits you wish to take. You can even use the Park area of the Armory to hold an intimate ceremony, exchanging your vows against this lovely stonework. Your cocktail reception and dining can take place in the main event hall. This hall features hardwood flooring and generous space that can be used to set up banquet dining for 200 guests with room for dancing. The stage area in the event hall can be used to host your sweethearts table, DJ, or wedding band. This space allows you to play with decor, reinventing it to fit your chosen aesthetic. Bel Air Armory offers the use of tables and chairs included with your rental. In order to fully customize your event, outside vendors are more than welcome.

Monroe Bay Vineyard is located on the water near Colonial Beach on the original birthplace Farm of our 5th President James Monroe. We have secluded and tranquil waterfront land to plan your perfect day. We have a large, unique barn made of natural, recycled materials of strawbales for insulation and recycled wine bottles for light and design. You no longer see the strawbales in the wall as they have been covered with a hydraulic lime the same material castles in France for hundreds of years have been made from. The inside is a museum quality white lime finish with unique curves with sun shining through the patterned wine bottle walls to give a unique backdrop.
