I have been a photographer for 8 years. Throughout my time as a photographer I’ve captured clothing, models, and memories. I shifted from corporate shootings to families and weddings because it gave me this warm fuzzy feeling when I edited my couples and families photos. Don’t be afraid to reach out to me and ask about my photography style, my editing style, or my favorite restaurant! I highly recommend scheduling a free consulting session!

Grace was a pleasure to work with during the wedding planning process. She was timely in her responses and upfront with pricing. On the day of the wedding, it felt like we were herding cats, but she remained professional and efficient. Even though we were running behind schedule with getting dressed, she managed to squeeze in a few dress shots and some first look photos. Grace remained patient even as some of our friends and family showed up late for photos! As we moved between locations, she made sure I was holding my dress in a way so that I wouldn’t fall on my face. She also helped my MOH bustle my dress after the ceremony (again, so I wouldn’t fall on my face). Grace was always cognizant of the lighting on location, and how it would affect photos. Her assistant, Joey, was lovely and accommodating as well. All in all, a wonderful experience!

Professional, quality photographer that made photos fun and easy Hiring Mahdi and Shima was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Mahdi and Shima were a phenomenal team and captured our wedding in the most perfect light. Our pictures turned out better than we could have ever hoped and I would recommend them for every wedding/engagement (they did both for us). Reasons why we love them-- 1) The pictures they take are top notch. The quality and style is unrivaled 2) Their style of capturing the wedding is authentic. Mahdi and Shima do a great job of capturing the "in between" moments that really tell the story of the day. Of course they include the standard family and bridal party pictures, but so many of the pictures really capture the vibe of the day. 3) Their teamwork and ability to help lead you through the flow of the day are second to none. On the day of the wedding it felt hectic and I wasn't 100% sure where I should have been or what I should have been doing at any given moment. Mahdi and Shima helped us with our schedule and walked us through the entire day effortlessly. This was great because I never had to worry about where I had to be next 4) They are just great people will incredible talent. Right off the bat you could tell that they love what they do and they love to do it together. Mahdi and Shima exceeded our expectations Would highly, highly recommend!

Real Connections. Raw Emotions. Candid Moments.

These are the values behind what we do. These three words are the heart and soul of our work and everything we do is based around adventure and authenticity. When you hire us, you are hiring photographers who truly care about the experience you will have on your day. We don’t mind getting a little dirty or wet. We don’t mind staying until after dark to get the perfect shot. We don’t mind the hikes, or the time in-between each event. We are truly there for you and to tell the story of your day exactly as it happens

My husband and I are so pleased that we hired Candace for our wedding day photography. She honestly went way above and beyond to make sure that our needs were met and that we were informed and comfortable through every step of the process. She was such a pleasure to work with, she is very professional but also warm and friendly and gives great directions. Our photos turned out better than we could have imagined, we are so pleased with the work that she did for us. You can tell that we were having a lot of fun while we were taking them, and they are beautifully shot and edited. I would highly recommend Candace Marie Photography!

Hi! I'm Taylor a Georgia based Wedding photographer, mommy, and cheesecake lover. Obsessed with: Family, Naps, and good books. I’ve been keeping it real since 1997. I started my business when I was just 17 years old. Since then I have turned that small hobby into a full time career photographing beautiful couples love stories. Throughout my 8 years in business, I have been lucky enough to photograph over 200 weddings throughout Georgia and the other southern states.

I eloped on May 17th in Colorado but wanted to have a reception back home in Georgia. I really had no idea what I wanted for that day but she made sure to get everything I wanted and some things I did not even think I wanted. I would love to work with her again!!

Jack Wylde (they/them) (name in progress) I am an Inclusive Wedding Photographer blends fine art with authentic storytelling, creating images that feel timeless and deeply personal. Inspired by the richness of romantic paintings, I capture love with moody tones, candid moments, and creative angles. From elopements at sunrise to backyard celebrations under the stars, I celebrate all types of unions—LGBTQIA+, non-traditional, eco-friendly, and more. Whether it’s a courthouse ceremony or a handfasting in the woods, I focus on the details and emotions that make your day truly yours. Let’s turn your love story into art.

Our elopement photos by From GA with Love are absolutely magical. They didn’t just capture the obvious moments but found the heart in every little detail of our day. One of our favorite shots is of the winding dirt road we drove down at sunrise, with the mist clinging to the trees—it feels like the start of our own fairy tale. Another incredible image is of us exchanging our vows on a quiet riverbank, with a heron landing in the background as if nature itself was blessing our ceremony. Even the candid photo of us laughing together while struggling to light our unity candle in the breeze is now one of our most cherished memories. Their ability to honor the intimacy and uniqueness of our day made our gallery feel deeply personal and full of love. The best part was the inclusion of our kid, who got to feel like a part of the day. If you want a photographer who can make your story feel as epic and authentic as it deserves, they are the one.

We feel so lucky to have found Andrew as our wedding photographer. He has an incredible eye for the editorial style and makes his photos into works of art with golden light and chiaroscuro. So many photographers just rely on their high-res equipment but don't offer anything more--I don't want a macro shot of every pore or line on my face like an owl in a tree at 100 yards, I want to have a sense of magic and beauty in every photo. Andrew actually does that. I almost cried when I saw our first look photos because I don't feel very confident being photographed and I finally had dozens of photos of myself and my husband that I want to share with friends immediately and cherish forever. He delivered the first look so fast, even though I know he was busy working another wedding; I thought for sure we would have to wait longer. The wedding package we chose included very nice touches like polaroids so we had something in hand at the end of the wedding day itself, too. It was very thoughtful and left us feeling good about the whole experience right away. He was very personal and nice to work with, but not intrusive, and went with the little schedule changes we had, and was open to suggestions while we took post-ceremony photos around the city. I couldn't be happier with our experience with him and would recommend him highly to anyone looking for a real artist for their wedding photography.

A Charleston Wedding Photographer with a fierce love for storytelling, fostering memories and capturing those moments that you will want to treasure forever. I get to tell your story. And, I think that’s pretty cool. I love traveling everywhere and anywhere, talking with my hands, buying plants (and attempting to keep them alive), and spending as much time as I can with my loved ones. I have lived in Boston, Paris, and New York City, and am now lucky enough to call Charleston home, while also still traveling the world for my clients. You can usually find me on my back porch in downtown Charleston, right next to my favorite little park.

tldr: Jessica is amazing and I don’t think you can go wrong with her if this is the style of photos you like I had a lot of difficulty picking a photographer as I’m pretty picky with photos. I knew I wanted something bright and light, with kind of a whimsical or ethereal vibe, but it was really hard finding the style until I came across the “fine art” style. Jessica’s name came up while researching this style and I decided to reach out to her among a few other fine art photographers. I definitely hoped talks would go well with Jessica as the others I contacted ended up either not responding or were wildly out of my budget. Pre-Planning: Jessica was wonderful throughout this process. She promptly responded to my emails and answered questions clearly. I never felt like I was left in the dark for any part of the process. When I sent her the timeline of the ceremony/reception, she quickly came up with a timeline to slot in all the photos to be taken ahead of time at the location (We had access to the venue for a little over an hour prior to the ceremony). She also asked for a list of family photos that we wanted to take. This made it very easy at the wedding as she could call out people’s name to make sure everyone that was supposed to be in the pictures, were in the pictures. Jessica also sent over a list of ideas for detail shots and explained she could do this ahead of time. We didn’t want extra pictures of these and decided against it, however, I still thought it was very thoughtful of her to offer. Wedding Day: I loved her energy at the wedding. She was very calm and felt very competent. She directed my husband and I throughout the pictures, showing us poses etc. During family and wedding party photos, even though we had many bodies to fit in the frame in quite a few pictures, she led us through them with ease and the entire experience was very stress free (or as stress free as can be at a wedding lol). The venue was quite dim at specific locations, but the final results did not reflect that at all. The pictures were bright and did not look like they were taken in the dark at all. (This is a little off topic but I loved the little apron with pockets she wore for her equipment. So cute) I’m not sure when Jessica had the time, but there were pictures around the venue which were so beautiful. I definitely feel like the day was captured through the pictures. Post Wedding: Jessica sent us a sneak peak 2 days after the wedding containing 23 pictures. They turned out great and were beautiful. You can see examples on her website so I won’t elaborate, but they really are that good. The full gallery was sent almost a month after the wedding (minus 2 days) with instructions on purchasing prints or an album attached. The full download contained 650ish files, including the sneak peek pictures. Half of which were black and white, so this matched up pretty perfectly with Jessica’s estimation of the amount of photos when we spoke in the pre-planning stage.

Katy Kahla Photography

5.0

  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves Potlatch, ID for additional fees

I'm a wedding and elopement photographer based in Boise, Idaho. Idaho raised, the outdoors owns my soul and I love spending time with my family doing everything from camping to snowboarding to biking and all the things in between. An explorer at heart, my passion for adventure has taken me worldwide and there is more I can't wait to discover. I fell in love with photography after seeing the bold portraits of Annie Leibowitz and double exposures by Jerry Uelsmann. I love creating stories you can't wait to return to, rereading dozens of times and still entranced by the characters within them.

Katy made every step of the way extra special and fun. We are so thrilled with our engagement and wedding photos! She went above and beyond what we would have ever expected from a photographer-- from scouting multiple locations, being prepared for any type of weather, to even helping us come up with planning ideas for our special day! We would highly recommend Katy and we will be using her again for any of our photography needs.
