Our restored 1902 building comes with both original architectural details and gorgeous modern renovation touches. The park was originally named Douglas Triangle for the street on which it is located. The name was officially changed to Mt. Curve Triangles (plural), on November 4, 1925, when the previous Mt. Curve Triangle was renamed Fremont Triangle. The park was officially named in honor of Thomas Lowry in 1984. Lowry is best known for developing the street railway system in Minneapolis. The Lowry Hill neighborhood, in which the park is located, was named because he owned most of the land and built his imposing mansion on the hill.

Established in 1883, the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) oversees a renowned urban park system spanning 6,809 acres of parkland and water. Featured among its 180 park properties are 55 miles of parkways, 102 miles of Grand Rounds biking and walking paths, 22 lakes, 12 formal gardens, seven golf courses and 49 recreation centers. Altogether, MPRB properties receive about 23 million visits annually. Minneapolis parks make picturesque backdrops for your cherished event. Royal Foundry Craft Spirits is a newer distillery infusing the Minneapolis craft cocktail scene with a British flavor. We are producing fine spirits made in the classic British tradition using grains, botanicals, and classic recipes. Craft is King and we're Royal Foundry! We are a British-inspired distillery and cocktail room in the Harrison Neighborhood of Minneapolis. We are open four days a week, can host events, have plenty of games, a patio, and a Cycle Speedway track.
